We received "principle applicant's" application for permanent residence on July 7, 2014.
We started processing "principle applicant's" application on September 9, 2014.

I were asked by LVO for Rukhsati pics and Urdu Nikah Nama which i didn’t sent before as were not aware of that . So now i sent that to LVO.
These days they are really strict about Nikah Onlay cases as their main concern is cohabitation as they don’t consider Nikah a full marriage. To be honest i would have recommended you to have Rukhsati as soon as possible. But as you mention there you are all set to do that on feb,2016 so now you have to write a detailed letter to them explaining that why you guys didn’t have Rukhsati at the first place.
Whatever the reason is, you have to explain that , whether you were studying or any other soiled reason etc. You have to provide them communication record, proofs if your sponsor visited you after your Nikah with the dates, if you guys went somewhere together, if you have pics of both families with you guys, most importantly if you have booking for hall you have to provide them receipts . If your rukhsati invitations are printed ,put that as well in proofs and your wedding dress recipt etc. Give them as much proofs as possible and put sticky notes on each proof.

Write a cover letter explaining them every detail of your relationship from start to nikah and how you guys gonna have Rukhasti. It must be convincing as they have doubts about your relationship. Put the cover letter on top of all the documents and sent them by courier .
Didn’t you get that additional documents request from Immigration & Medical Services Division?

Another re-med request from NDVO, asking for X-ray and physical. We took re-med on May 28 this year, more than four months have gone. The only difference in the request letter is they have attached assessment form this time. We were "In Process" on Aug 10, since then no communication from LVO. I need advice what should we do?

Have you tried ordering notes? Or send a Case specific Inquiry?

It seems the LVO likes some applicants more than others :-\

Hi all,

This is a rather silly question but I must ask. In what kind of enveloppe did you send your application in. My application is very bulky due to the additional proofs I'm providing...should I just go to my local Canada Post office and they'll help me with this?

I've never really sent out anything mail related...

If you go to the Copy & Print dept of any Staples.. they will have a cardboard mailer box. I sent it in that as no envelope will fit the application.

Our case is " inprocess " too, thanks to make me to check my status....but does it make any difference at this stage of the case ? It went inprocess today too....statement is same too like yours,

I applied for spousal sponsorship.

Case received on April 7, 2014 in Mississauga
Process started on May 30, 2014 in London Office (recieved confirmation letter)
I inquired about my case in May, 2015 and came to know that an interview of my wife will be conducted in Islamabad and she will be notified a month prior to it
I went to my local MP office and inquired regarding my case but no luck in receiving any new info
Its been almost 16 months but no word on interview and neither as to what went wrong in my case.
I could see that mostly cases are being closed in 10 to 13 months in London
Can someone please help me with this interview mystery. Why are they taking so long to schedule an interview. Should I hope for an interview call any time sooner?
Please advise.

Our case " June 2014" is in Islamabad awaiting for interview too ....did you ordered notes ? let us keep in touch to inform about upcoming interview.

I suspect not. But you never know sister. Usually it doesn't go to "In Process" for anyone in interview queue. That's why I am hopeful that they may have taken us out from the interview list ?
