Hi,
I have a question. I got an email for a chest x-Ray for our medical extension. I booked an appointment at the Islamabad PP by calling them but I'm a little confused about the time. Would it be appropriate to call and confirm the date and time?

How can I say that LVO become proactive now a days..! My file was transferred to LVO directly on 26-April-2014 then medical request from LVO (1st medical as I didn't to upfront medical) on Feb-2015 which I did on 26-Feb-15. Status was also changed to "In-Process in Feb-2015. After that they asked for few forms re-submission in May-2015 which were submitted in May-2015.

Since that time waiting for further feedback from LVO.! Just praying.

It's been around 17 months and I'm still waiting. Dont know how much time they will take further..

Any idea? Tnx

I agree. I applied 1 week before you with all the necessary information / upfront medical but since March, no update from LVO.

Mercy24 I have a question. We got ECAS changed to In Process yesterday and today we cannot go in, it keeps bouncing us out, is it normal?

No, I don't think its normal. I am not having problem logging into ecas. Just try different ways (i.e. case file number) or from a different computer.
If you are still having the issue the following week, you could try sending an enquiry to LVO.

my file transfer to london 25feb 2015
at 25 august it went in to process
today when i click on in process it shows to me thay we started process on ur applocation on 5 march 2015
is it normal anyone else also like me please guide me seniors

The easiest hassle-free way is sending an email. Just click on the FAQ link in my signature and go to medical section.

Can I confirm an appointment through email as well? The reason I'm asking is because the woman on the other side told me 10 am and then changed it to 9:30 am. So I just wanted to make sure so there is no confusion.

Hi. We got the remedical requeest last night. I paid the RPRF last week Monday when I got the email. Now I guess this means we are a couple weeks/months away.

Any suggestions for Female Panel Physician in GTA?

Allhamdulilah I got Decision made on both status from 11 august

sponsorship Application Status: Decision Made

Permanent Residents Application Status: Decision Made

but still without ppr its almost 15 days a go .......! Now Allhamdulilah I have sent urgent case inquiry to Lvo ldnimmigration @ international.gc.ca yesterday they said 24 to 48 for reply Any idea what they reply Huh Or inshallah lvo will sent me ppr after read my email and verified my status? Huh
Also my request to everyone please pray for me that Inshallah I will get my ppr in these days Ameen

For some applicants, after DM it took about a month to PPR.

I wish and pray for you and for everyone else.
Keep the fact in mind that it really depends upon case to case and how you presented your case. If they asked and find something missing in your file that may take more than the avg processing time BUT this doesn't mean that LVO is not proactive. LVO is way more proactive compare to Islamabad VO. Just quoting a random example here for one applicant:

App. Filed.......: 18-11-2014
AOR Received.: 07-02-2015
File Transfer...: 14-02-2015
Ecas Status "In Process": 14-08-2015

Looks like if this applicant's file is complete (nothing missing/expired) than he might hear back from them very soon. LVO is actively processing files now a days, provided a complete package.

I agree with you, at the moment lvo thread is the most happening thread on this forum. If you leave gaps n questions in your file it will delay process as the file goes back in tray n when they receive required information it takes time to open your file again. Good luck to all of us.
