I have sponsored my wife in Karachi & i am on PR
Here is my timeline:
upfront medical done 20 july 2014
Applied 27 july 2014
application received 20 august 2014
File transfer to LVO 1st november 2014
add applicant (My Son) 10th January 2015
add applicant received 25 jan 2015
medical request for my son 27th April 2015
medical done on 5th may 2015
remedical request for my wife 7th may 2015
remedical done on 12th may 2015
ecas status changed to decision made checked on 20th August 2015.

Hi there,

I got my Visa and entering into Canada soon. I am taking connected flights Lahore to Toronto Via Dubai and staying few days in Dubai. I just want to confirm is there any problem if i get Visa for Dubai and stay there for few days before entering into Canada. Because someone told me that you have to arrive directly into Canada. Please guide

i would recommned dont stay in duabi for few days bcz i knw some one who had this issue n at the toronto ariport immigration gave him a hard time 5 hrs jst questioning n answering n finally let him go.

For Skype you can download Skype Log View Software. Just Google it and there are lots of different sources where you can download it from. One of them is:

For Facebook Messenger: I think you need to take the screenshots.

Alhamdullilah my case has been completed within 15 months time.......

My application was filed from Canada so i was wondering when and where i would receive my docs i.e (Birth Certificate, Academic Recs) Pakistan address or Canadian address

Does Canadian government facilitate in moving good?

Applicants should received the original docs theoretically and they do in majority cases ... But there are cases in which sponsor received the original docs

ECAS status: Decision made checked on 20th August 2015. Whats next? How would i know that the decision is positive or negetive. It went straight from app received to decision made.

There is no way if someone can tell whether its positive or negative. BUT I hope and pray its going to be positive. Remember there are cases in which ecas got changed from File received to DM directly.

probably the questioning must be about something else.
Generally nobody cares how many days one spends in anywhere (unless its an active conflict/war zone).
That someone must have had customs issues

Insha Allah within 15 days u will get an email if they need additional documents or re medical otherwise within month decission will be made
