what is your timeline but after in process few more days wait for ppr....

I applied on Sept 2014, in June 2015 received the re-med and additional document request.

That's what i am anticipating as well.

Hi friends,

I heard applicant who applied from Pakistan they have submit original nikkah nama and educational documents? it that correct ?? I applied from UAE as i am resident and from here no such requirements for original documents. But unfortunately they forwarded my file to LVO i/o ADVO so now they will ask for originals or not????

Any advise from seniors?

Hello guys,

I am new to this website and forum.

I just got married in December, 2014 and applied for my wife's sponsorship to Canada in May, 2015.

CIC Mississauga received my documents May 4, 2015
Started processing application on May 29, 2015
File moved to London, UK office on June 30, 2015.

I have been hearing different stories that ever since the Family Sponsorship office has been moved to London, UK, the processing time has been decreased tremendously and sponsored individuals have been receiving their Landing Documents within 12-16 months. How true is that?

Also, Can you apply for a visiting visa for your spouse once the Sponsorship Application is in progress?

Lastly, after you have submitted your Sponsorship Application and you visit your spouse (be it in Pakistan or both husband and wife meet somewhere else), should the immigration office be contacted to update them with the proofs of recent visit?

my wife got her passport request today. Very condfused about the Updated Chart form. Do i a canadian citizen need to be added on in the box of "spouse". She will be travelling alone from Pak.

my wife got her passport request today. Very condfused about the Updated Chart form. Do i a canadian citizen need to be added on in the box of "spouse". She will be travelling alone from Pak.

Shes the principal applicant, don't mention yourself in the spouse box as shes the only one needing the visa. Leave it blank. I was confused too so you only need to fill the first row.

Yesterday I replied email with travelling info for medical extension, today "In process" appeared on ecas

I need to send additional proof of relationship to the London visa office, my wife and I just got back from our Honeymoon and are thinking of sending additional photos/tickets/hotel receipts etc.

Does anyone know the mailing address and how can I be able to send this additional info. Any tips would be really helpful as well

find the above address, I didn't send such additional info. However, certainly, no harm to send.
don't forget to mention your Application # in cover letter

I didn't send any original documents except police certi, However foreign office attested photocopies of nikka naama, translation, and nadra marriage certi. HEC & Foreign office attested photocopies of educational documents.
till now they didn't request original yet.
above is my personal experience, not a suggestion for you. Because mostly applicants send originals as per cic instructions.

same i sent original PCC from Dubai and Karachi rest all copies as no requirement of originals from UAE, later on will see they ask or not..

Incase one sending photocopies, I would strongly recommend to get attested first from both Foreign office & HEC. I believe it is easier for cic to get verified by ticket # stamped on photocopy from attestation authority. Rather, long procedure for verification of originals bearing no stamp.
