Count me in sister. It wasn't official but they emailed that an interview is needed.

I am leaving for Pakistan in 2 weeks though. Will not be posting anything after.

Got a reply from LVO after my enquiry of why it was taking so long after all the checks were done. Also in the notes security screening was due on 18th of June 2015, why it is taking that long to clear someone from security screening.? What do they check in it.? If some one know so please tell me. Although the good sign is they are aware of providing PPR before the 8th month of my wife.

Once the security review is complete and has passed this stage, we will sent the passport request letter.

When would be a good time to order notes? I kno its a bit early to hear from london but im wondering if they even opened the file yet.. Anyone apply notes after 7-8 months?

Its best to order notes around 10th month or around the expiry of medical. Before that you would just see not started in all your assessments and everything would be untouched from the date of file transfer.

I sent it through Canada post's XpressPost with signature enabled on receiving. It reached to UK in 4 days. It costed around $80 If I remember right, as my package was pretty big and needed to be fit in the biggest post bag.

But aren't we supposed to send our file to Mississauga first? They will send it to UK right?

I really apologize for wrong information. I just had a thought in my mind regarding the updates I sent to UK I mixed it up. I am really sorry yes I sent it to Mississauga but still through Canadapost Xpresspost and make sure signature is enabled.

By the grace of Allah and this holy month of Ramadan, we Received the PPR. Allah ka lakh lakh shukar hay Finally this torture is coming to end. I pray for everyone else who are still waiting to get good news soon IA.

Send the PP yesterday, anyone have any idea how long it take the PP to get back these days, I need to buy a ticket. Can I buy something for end August ?

Anyone know any Desi Travel Agency in Montreal to get good deals for ticket, on internet price are crazy for August.

It takes around 3 to 5 weeks but with EID holidays around I would say don't book a ticket as of yet. Coz Islamabad guys are pretty busy these days with PPRs, some people got there passport back even after 50 days. So I would recommend not to book a ticket now. That's a good news for you Suleman......At least they have confirmed PPR after Security stage......so you are not in the interview queue.....Good one for you.

May 2014 first week applicants ramzaan chal raha hy koi sadqa do yaar, first week walay saray hi phasay hoe hain. CIC walon k rozay hi khulwa do shaid unhain taras aa jae, ab to paon perna hi reh gea hy specially after seeing even July applicants ko bhi PPR aa rahi hain.

Lol. Lets just stay calm and pray. Someone i know from the immigration told us its in queue and it will come after 6 months so we're near. Lets hope it happens.
