I have reviewed the application ,documentation ,interview notes and supplemental information rec'd after interview .i note that correspondence and visits have continued ,couple looking comfortable together .i am now satisfied that this is a BF relationship and valid marriage . Am satisfied of intent to reside in CDA..

Now what's the next step ...

Hi all there.

The following is the cease status of my two years old son in Pakistan. This was updated last Tuesday.

"We received your application for permanent residence on February 27, 2014.

We started processing your application on March 18, 2015.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision."

How London visa office going to contact. Postal mail, email or else. How they are going to issues immigrant visa for my son.
Please somebody let me have the correct procedure. Regards

They will email the ppr if you provided otherwise they will send you by snail mail. The PA will be asked to submit passport, 2 photos and bio form and need to be submitted to Canadian VFS. The VFS will charge Rs. 1,550/= and will send it to CHC Islamabad for visa stamping. This will take one to three weeks and VFS will inform PA to collect it from them.

is there anyway we can expedite the process ? like temporay passport so my wife and new born baby can travel with in couple of months. ? please reply thanks

There is no such thing like temporary passport for would be PRs, however, your wife can apply temporary resident visa i.e. TRV. But forgive me 95% chances are she won't get it, however no harm in applying though. Your new born baby (if you are a Canadian citizen) is a citizen by descent can travel on limited validity passport.

MPs are notorious for providing false information with respect to immigration cases.
My MP told me, my application would be sent to New Delhi and the processing time would be 33 months.

When I advised my MP my wife was pregnant, they told me to contact them after my file gets transferred to the visa office.
After my file was transferred, I contacted the office manager and she asked me to write directly to the visa office for urgent assistance.

Another person who had their application rejected was advised by her MP that she could not appeal.

Another MP advised the processing time at LVO is 30 months so they cannot intervene because the person's case is within the timeline even though the case file is 22 months old.

It's more reliable to interact with the source (VO) as the usefulness of the MP for immigration assistance has been subjugated under this current government.

I have seen too many cases where they have provided incorrect information.
In my case and I know many other cases, they were completely useless. There may be exceptions but generally this is what I have noticed.

Well between you and me the MP was a plan B on our part. The only channel of correspondence open with the VO itself is email. Which they dont always respond to. The only time they have indulged in responding to emails is when i asked them about the time getting cranked up to 29 months, they responded by copy pasting the email template they send to everyone and the notes dont tell the entire story as in most cases documents and fees received by the VO is not updated on file (in my case this was the RPRF fee).

As a PR does staying with your spouse in Pakistan until she gets her residence derail the application in anyway? I got approval from my management to work remotely from August until my wife gets approved.

My wife received e-mail from london on 16 april 2015 they need our communication proofs after i came back canada.we send those which they received on 28 april 2015 after very next day again my wife got another email from canadian high comission delhi for the reassessment of medical.
And they gave her only 7 days for the medical.she checked her email on thusrday and next days was friday 1st may which was holiday after that there were 2 more days off sat sun In lahore they were clearly saying we dnt have date availbe in these 7 seven days I dnt know what kind of persons they are we were showing them email but anyways she get date after so many request.that was the 2nd last day for the medical.
Now we are keep watching our status which is still same.my question is how much time they ll take for the passport request.
One of my friend have same situation but last week he received his wife's original documents but i didnt get yet.plz ans met last week he received his wife's original documents but i didnt get yet.plz ans me

Every case is different so you can't say both have same situation. It is better to send LVO a case specific inquiry

Specific days for PPRs is just a myth, I have observed people getting it during all 5 working days

Hello everyone!

I have submitted my Passport on last Thursday for visa issuing via VFS global check today also nothing changed same status
Passport forwarded to Islamabad on 22/05/2015.

Can anyone suggest then its gonna come?

Salam to all!
I posted on this thread a couple of months ago regarding me getting married and whether to do nikkah only or do the full ceremony. well at the end it was decided by the elders that we would do nikkah only Alhamdulillah as Allah had it planned. Well now that i am back in Canada a married man, i gotta jump into the sponsorship process. Right now i am beginning to gather all the documents required to start the process. i have already order my option C printout and got the job letter etc. but i am just a little confused about the supporting documents required from my wifes side. i know that Nikkah nama and marriage certificate must be original but as for her educational certificates such as her degrees diplomas matriculation diplomas, do all these documents also need to be original? i just spoke to her and she was freaking out about the fact that if she sends all the original degrees, she wont have anything until her process is done and also the fact that if by any chance these documents are lost (God forbid) then it will be such a huge issue trying to gather all the degrees and diplomas if thats even possible. anyways my question would be, aside from original nikkah nama and marriage certificate, do we also need to submit original educational certificates?
any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

Hi guys, i got an email to disclose my travel history and illness detail from last medical. Now i ve got a med request (just x-ray i guess TB test test only) and have asked me to contact the physician and get assessment done in 7 days. M going out of country for a week and wont be back before 13 and the deadline is 4 june. I ve send reminders on email for appointment but no response yet anyone gone through same procedure? i saw above few but didn't find what happen to them last. tx

They only work Monday-Friday so not sure when you emailed them, its highly unlikely you will get an appointment before 4 june, so make sure you at least book your appointment before leaving or anyone on your behalf can take the appointment since all they need is your name, passport, country of immigration and city you want to go for the medical.
