So Alhamdollilah the wait is finally over for me and my wife. Today my wife received back her passport with Visa stamped on it. Thank god. The passport was submitted on April 30th, 2015 and received today May 5th, 2015.

11. Birth Certificate(Original) with Translation
12. Marriage Certificate – Nikk Nama (Original)
13. Canadian Citizenship Certificate for Sponsor(Copy)
14. Canadian passport pages showing all details.

I am june 2013, still waiting for ppr 2. I dont know what CIC is doing with our files, when everything is already submitted and they are not even
replying to my email.

I filed my wife's application in July 2013 and still there is no progress on her application. I asked them about the current status and in reply they said, it's waiting for a review by a visa officer.

It took almost 2 months after re-medical for passport request.

My husband ordered notes on 29th march 2015 and received it on 4th may 2015 . its the same as before received on 8th january 2015 ,,written in Progress ,status open ,Location Islamabad .. as shared before my husband went to meet Mp on 27th january 2015 ,, he enquired about status of application ,at that time MP said BACK GROUND CHECKS going on .. but in the notes received on 4th may 2015 its written that MP contacted on 27th january 2015 and enquired about my application..FILE IN QUE FOR REVIEW AND REMAINS WITHIN PUB.PROC.TIME MEU OFFICER .
Means they have not started working on it ,, not even assigned a visa officer .. Then why MP said on 27th january 2015 that back ground checks going on ?? For my application 25 months will be completed on 8th may 2015 since application received to Mississauga .ECAS still showing APPLICATION RECEIVED ON 8TH APRIL 2013 ..My husband met the same MP on 24th april 2015 ,, now he is saying FILE IN QUE FOR REVIEW ..
I want to ask what should I do now ?? How do we come to know from notes that back ground checks going on ??

Your file is in Islamabad and the processing time is much longer approx. 3 years. InshaAllah you'll hear soon.

GUYS!!! i just received all my husbands documents and the pictures we sent etc, everything we sent including all forms I got them back from London Visa Office what does that mean? By the way it has been exactly 13 months since i have applied for my husbands sponsorship. Please help Thanks

Check your ECAS status, it must says Decision made.
Also, it means that good news is nearing and applicant will get the PP request soon.

When did your case file change to "in process" on ECAS?

ECAS staus never changed to "in process" it just said "Application Received" and all of the sudden on April 21st it changed to "Decision Made" but it did say on there that "we started processing your application on April 16th, 2015".
