Why are you making such a lengthy process for the guarantor? why don't you make some one from your family or from your wife's family be the guarantor? Uncles, aunties, grand parents.. anyone can be a guarantor.. just make sure that persons not only knows the child well but also can speak English, as CHC(ISB) might give a call to the guarantor..

There are requirements to be met in order to become a guarantor. Any Canadian passport holder who knows me personally for at least two years could become a guarantor. Any Pakistani national practising medical Dr , lawyer,dentist etc can also become a guarantor. In my family there is no Canadian passport holder available neither the above mentioned professionals. How I choose any maternal or paternal relative as a guarantor who doesn't fulfil the requirements.

ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS???

1. Are original documents returned to Sponsor or Principal Applicant?
2. Are they returned before visa stamp or after?

My husband got passport request today for visa. My husband used to live in UAE, during the process of sponsorship but now he is living in pakistan. however in the email it says that he can submit his passport in abu dhabi, or qatar, kuwait or oman. Can he submit it in pakistan? Would there be any problem?

Visa office have concern only with passport so better get 3 month visit visa and submit passport in UAE.
Otherwise it will cause delay in process.

just posting this here so others can know and hopefully this will help someone.

I received an email that my passport was being sent back to Karachi but 1 week passed with no call to pick it up. I e-mailed the Visa Office in Islamabad and they replied that I can go pick up my passport 48 hours after the email
Its sad that they didn't send me an SMS even though I paid for it (its included in the fees when you submit passport) but alas, this is Pakistan.

Its sad that they didn't send me an SMS even though I paid for it (its included in the fees when you submit passport) but alas, this is Pakistan.

It's unfortunate that we can't expect anything good in Pakistan. Last time I went there and paid for urgent Nadra Nicop card. They promised for 10 days and delivered after 22 days. Everytime making an excuse that they have too many to print. I am sooooo thankful to Allah that I don't have to live there.

Mostly portable number have problem with SMS.
Even normal number have sometime SMS problem don't worry.

Tahir bhai don't say our country is bad .
Alhamdulillah Pakistan is best than many others ya govt is corrupt but about govt institutions hope u never experienced Gulf countries then u will never say about Pakistan.
Every country have good and bad sides.
This is country from where we fly with Green passport then we become second citizen.
