Hi,

Guys once a decision is made, does lvo contact you by email to submit passport to CHC via VAC ???
or
they just send docs by mail to your address ??

reason I am asking is its been 6 months my decision has been made and they asked for passport copies since than no answer.
my address has been changed. I did ordered for notes today.

What is your timeline?
Did you give them your email address to correspond or home address?
Did you notify your address change?

i got passport request on feb 19, 2016. i want to ask that my daughter was born in paskistan and she got canadian passport. do i need to submit her canadian passport copy alongwith her photos with my passport as she will be accompanying me. Please note that she was not included in application. she was a canadian national by birth as my husband is a naturalized canadian citizen.kindly repsond as i need to submit passport asap.

No, you don't have to submit her passport copy, photos or include her in Appendix-A.

You only have to provide your information (principal applicant).

i want to change my status on my cnic as married but the problem is i want my address there instead of my husband's since we just had nikkah and we are not living together and he is in canada right now so what should i do?
is it necessary to change marital status on NIC for immigration?
please help

It's not required to change marital status for immigration.

Assalam o Alikum everyone,
Hope every one is fine ,I was on this forum since last one year and got married 4 months ago.
Unfortunately, due to Police certificate from UAE which I didn't get because once I was lost my passport their and make new one with valid police report from Sharjah but their bullshit system put my name in system and now not issue is me police certificate.
After 4 months I decided not to apply immigration because I know without police certificate they never gonna give visa.
May be this all going to end my marriage too as my wife never wanna leave in Pakistan.
But trust me UAE is law is worst then Africa or even Pakistan.
But on other hand I accept it as my faith.
It's great time with you all.
May Allah make easy for everyone here about their case and no one can face issue like me. Amin

Very sad to hear that..!! But I think you can still apply without it and share all the details with them with a cover letter and attaching supporting docs you mentioned above. Attaching any letter from your employer in UAE that " they hired you and in your full tenure of work they never found you in wrong doings or anything that constitutes a crime in UAE". Some testimonials from people who know you from UAE. I don't think if you haven't done "anything wrong" in UAE this issue can be a hurdle in your marriage, CIC might handle your case differently and may take more time. But I don't think they will not accept your case and there should be an another approach which I mentioned.

You lost your hope very early, I would say give it a try with a different approach. Also don't mix the case process with your wife forcefully living in Pakistan with you. INSHA ALLAH everything will be fine.

All Pakistani applicants medical results go to New Delhi.

No idea how many days to get appointment.

Remedical appointments are done from Pakistan through IOM centers in different cities. Medical request comes from Delhi and IOM submits your remedical information to Delhi, but it have nothing to do with appointments.

It usually takes 3 to 5 business days after email to receive an appointment date from IOM and appointment are usually scheduled within 3 to 4 weeks.

Salaam, My wife got Re medical request today I hope that is a good sign. Just wondering the email we received is from Delhi office and not from London where we got previous communication for additional documents request. Anyone have recent experience with Re medical and the time it took from re medical to DM.

Remedical: Dec 16th, 2015
RPRF payment request: December 21st, 2015
Decision Made: January 7th, 2016

Since then I have emailed them twice and no response, even after 28 days.. Then I sent an email with "Urgent" in the subject heading.. Still no response.. It has been almost 45 days since DM and no ppr as of yet for my wife.. Any insight guys? Has CIC been replying to peoples emails? I am getting in touch with my MP. I am hearing of people getting DM and PPR within the same week.. Any insight as its making me very nervous.. Just want my wifey to come to canada! LVO hasnt responded to any of my 3 emails!
