Good News! gott an email from CPC Mississauga that they have added my child as a dependent in my wife's case. (same as AOR). Which is scary I hope they don't take long now. The text:

As requested, your file has been updated to include the additional dependent and all eligibility
requirements for sponsorship have been met. Accordingly, the visa office processing the
Application for Permanent Residence for your relative(s) has been advised of this change.​

I hope from their last email in August , it was pretty clear that my wife is ready for a DM but it was delayed due to the pregnancy, I hope they now issue PPR to both INSHA ALLAH soon. Please pray for us.

Congrats Suleman! it is really an exciting news for you. I hope and pray that your family should be together pretty soon.

It does not matter if all the correspondence has to be done by the representative. Either Sponsor or PA can also write to them. Put "Urgent" in the subject line along with UCI and file Numbers.

You are hiring your lawyer as a representative. This does not prevent you as a sponsor to inquire about your own case with CIC.
Although some big headed lawyers may get irritated. As you should know by now, there is really nothing special about the lawyer for a sponsorship application -- it's all about submitting complete documents, doing a thorough check, and doing your own research online (CIC, Canadavisa forum, FAQs, etc.)

My order notes reply (received a week ago) summery as below. MP told us a mother ago that my file is under background check. Can you pls advise what is the difference between Criminality check and Security check?

Ans1: There was no interview for us. It was a comprehensive file weighing about 1.5 kg and took me 3 months to complete the paperwork. So, from day one I was sure that there won't be an interview.

Ans2: Interviews are held once in a quarter of the year. It is hard to predict when they will conduct the interview. I suggest order notes to see why they put you in the interview que and you may get any hint when they will conduct it.

Alhumdulillah, received this email from LVO this morning.

"Dear Applicant,
Please be advised our office sent you the attached letter on October 19, 2015. Please follow instructions."

It was the PPR. So they sent it on the 19th, 4 days after DM but our imbecile lawyer has told us nothing since DM even though we called at the end of OCT to let him know to keep an eye out. He just says yeah just wait, I'll let you know. I can't even comprehend how mad and happy I am at the same time.

Also Does Appendix A + passport photos have to be filled in for accompanying child if that child is not included as a dependant in your file but is travelling on their own Canadian passport? And you don't fill in for sponsor if they're not travelling with you right? Thanks in advance.

check your lawyer about the original letter which he/she received in their email. then u came to know actually how many days for passport submit. mostly 30 days or 60 days granted from LVO.
