Hey everyone.i have a question regarding the documents.In the document checklist the following document is required: [size=10pt][size=10pt]Official documentation
confirming your relationship to your sponsor and both of your relationships to the other family members on your application. This may include family lists and household registries.[/size][/size]
Is it necessary to have Family list or the marriage certificate would be enough for it?

Provide certified copies of the photo and information page of your valid passport .
What is meant by the certified copy? its already in English are they asking for the translation?

Urdu Nikahnaama, along with a certified English Translation.
Nadra Union Council Marriage Certificate.

These two options are okay. If you are not sponsoring any other family member, you don't have to send anything else. In case of children, then you will provide their birth certificates indicating that you are a parent (father or mother's name)

1) i have the english nikkah nama with union council stamp. now is it certified or certified is something else?
2) wedding invitation card is necessary or not?

Get an Urdu Nikahnama, get it translated in English and notarized. They usually ask that you send an Urdu NN and to avoid that, get an Urdu one.

Send the invitation card as proof. This is not an official document though, so its optional.

Due to at least two people that received their PPR a few days after emailing LVO, I also emailed them on Thursday (Nov 12) since it's now about 5 weeks since our DM, but I've received no reply. Is there some sort of curse put on certain files?!! My entire family is so disheartened at this point about why everything seems to be delayed for us. I'm trying to convince them that it's within the 45 day time limit but our mind keeps jumping to worst case scenarios. Ya Allah, hum sab ki mushkilay assan kar, Ameen.

You guys need to explain to them that it can take longer than others. I say that as a sponsor we need to show more understanding towards the processing time in front of our spouse/immediate family. It will put everyone else at ease.

Honestly, CIC is only doing their job. There has been so many fraud cases which has made it very difficult for genuine relationships.

BTW it is also a red flag for CIC if they find out that your relationship is in jeopardy for not being able to get to Canada in time.

I don't agree with that point. If you are not allowing a couple to live together, what else should you expect? A couple is supposed to live together in all circumstances.
What should we think about the couples who have kids in common and they are living apart (they are not allowed to live together). Why does not CIC simply ask for a DNA certificate and allow such couples to live together?

Not that i'm jealous of the applicants of June receiving visas earlier, but what is CIC criteria of working on applications? Should not is be first come first serve basis?

I applied start of May, and application was forwarded in July, 2015. My application still shows in process with last update on October 2, 2015. I am hoping the next update will bring a positive news for me and all others!

If the sponsor is citizen thn he/she can live any where in the world with spouse and apply sponsorship, CIC allowed this..
My wife still live with me in uae since beginning and our decision has been made within 6 months.. This is all about how you present your case.

The point I agree to was - to not tell CIC that your marriage is in jeopardy because of their laziness. It just puts a negative impact on your file.

But they are certainly not helping us in any way. We just wait and keep doing Medical again and again.
