yes you are right, everything is done through foreign office, as CHC cannot send anything directly to the police... but foreign office sends the document to the police for verification... so you see when ever you are dealing with foreign office or police in pakistan... delays will be there.... so we shouldnt simply blame CIC

UPDATE: the request for passport to be mailed to Islamabad has just arrived. However, cic has not requested to submit a copy of the passport to the London office.

Why people say NADRA marriage certificate when it is obtained from Union council? or they are two different things, thanks

So we need to send two different marriage certificates? one from NADRA and one from Union Council? Doesn't make sense. Please advise

Hi... After getting medical request a week ago. I have just received an email for additional docs ( Child birth certificate and citizenship certificate).

Kindly advise, is it better to send these two documents through email, portal or send it through physical address?Huh?

Finally seems like they are working on the file Smiley,

Salam,
I want to know that when they send our passport back then they use TCS COD but when we send to them its the simple courier . Rite?
When we send passport we have the receipt and tracking number,but when they send it back then how we get the tracking no.?

Dost, no tracking number will be provided by islamabad office. Just keep an eye out for 4 weeks before you contact the LVO office to inquire about the passport.
