My nephew is 25 years old so he is definitely eligible to sponsor. But his wife is 16 so she can't has her CNIC. I was reading up online that big age difference may also result in sponsorship refusal. Is it true?

Hmmmm well CIC wont have any issue because of early age wedding as it is the cultural norm of our region (But if you do not give a strong justification of it, this might put CIC in marriage of convenience). But I wonder how the couple will arrange the documents like marriage certificates by nadra and union council etc.

I called CIC canada, and they told me to contact the visa office where my application is.. (which I don't even know about??!!)
I have found the MP for my city, i don't know if he will be able to meet and help me in all this... how is your husband contacting MP? are they going to meet and actually discuss all this?

I have never heard of this option before..so no idea..give me all the details please

Yes Mps do contact cic on behalf of sponsor to track and get to know the status. You will have to sign access to information and he will contact on your behalf. Also you can make a case specific inquiry but it will take another 20 or more days to get a reply of that. I would rather suggest you to contact your mp to inquire and track the status of your application. It wont take that long. And spousal applications are all being sent to london anyways so i suppose your file must be there as well. But just for the sake of it you always have the option to contact mp, order notes etc.

Normally they take 30 days to reply. most of the time its 18-30 days

My husband apply in Sep 2012
then in july 2014 rec an email regarding the transfer of file to LVO with file number
in Nov 2014 get request for medical its 2nd medical my medical done on 19th nov 2014(all communication rec on my husband email address, i never ever get any letter in hard form)
few days back my husband get email that CIC requested few doc from me and they didnt get any reply while i donot get any letter from CIC.My residential address on my Application form is correct.

what is this actualy i m much worried abt my status. No update on website status as it was last update on nov 4th 2014.

Dont know the actual detail my husband told me verbally but they ask some documents related to our marriage is it genuine or not

dnt worry its additional doc request to prove your relationship
you guys can collect photos together, Details of ur any trip to meet ur spouse, airtickets, passport copy, phone bills details, skype/viber/watsapp/fb chat history gifts exchanged western union slips greeting cards etc

add all details abt how you people communicate daily

better to scan everything and send
but u can also print and send them

do i have to send in my urdu NN ( obtained from Union council)

or is an explanation that our NN was only in english sufficient



my original english NN (marked duplicate) was sent in with the original NADRA marriage certificate

plus i have zoomed in pictures at the shadi of both of us signing the english NN

any fast responses appreciated

hi everybody,

indeed need little help, i need telephone or email address of visa officer isalambad, as my wife got call from them that they will send email for re medical on 24th December but it never came to email. now i tried to send message through Case Specific inquiry but did not get any reply.

If some body know how to contact visa officer and just let him know that we did not get his email.

Really appreciated if somebody knows the contact info.

We dont have a Urdu original nn from date marriage

We are planning on getting a English tonurdu translation done. Attested and notarised

Along with the explanation that the original English nn they have marked duplicate is the second original. It has registration stamp

Do u think this enough?

Yes that could be done and CIC should be fine with this. Also state that your Nikah was done with an English NN only. Attested by Foreign office and notarize too.
