Hi everyone
I am reading this topic fir about a year
Now have a lot of knowledge
I filed for my husband in jan 2013
After abt 30 months wait while we were expecting remedical
We got aresponse from London that my husband(who was previously married and then divorced) divorce that we submitted is not genuine.
I dont hnderstand what that means Embarrassed

I have recently applied for my wife on july 7 2015, As i am canadian citizen applied from Montreal Canada.
Till now haven't received any conformation from them.
Kindly can somebody guide me for the further process and steps.

The web http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm-fc.asp shows that they are currently working on the application received by 26 June. You can contact CIC help center by phone to have updated status during their working hours.

We got aresponse from London that my husband(who was previously married and then divorced) divorce that we submitted is not genuine.

Would you mind to elaborate please that when you say "response", what does it means? LVO sent you an e-mail, letter or they have declared the decision? Whether they have asked for the further supporting documents about the genuineness of divorce?

Assuming the divorce to be genuine, and you being given the opportunity to produce further supporting documents, you may contact relevant union council for authentication; as every legal divorce need to be registered and sent by the union council. Further, your husband can also contact the post office because some of them have record for past few years of all the registered mails.

"As per Muslim Personal Law and under section 7 of the Muslim Family Law Ordinance the husband pronounces talaq (oral or by way of Deed of Divorce) and sends written notice by registered post to the Union Council, mentioning address of his ex- wife. Thereafter the concerned union Council sends a copy of the notice to wife by registered post and it constitutes arbitration Council within 30 days of receipt of notice. Once the iddat period (90 days from the date the union council receives the talaq notice) is over, the union council will issue a certificate of Talaq being effective to the husband and wife."

It was from union counsel

take the divorce certificate to foreign office to get attestation stamp on it. and attach a cover letter to let them know foreign office is attestation authority in Pakistan to attest such document. you may include foreign office website link in cover letter.

DECISION MADE on 11 August but still no ppr....????Its almost 25 days ago!! We also sent case inquiry last Thursday but no reply. ....
This upcoming week it will be month ago that I have DECISION MADE somebody have any idea we are so pershan......... please every pray for me today in jumma prayer that Inshallah we will get our ppr this week Ameen Allah hum sab ko Asaniyana aur kamyabiyan ata fermaye Ameen

Aoa!I am new to this forum and need help ASAP!
Need to ask some important details related to Nikkah only cases please.
I have already applied for my spousal sponsorship in Jan 2015.Last night I got a reply from london immigration that I may not be eligible to be sponsored because there was no proper Rukhsati yet.It will be inshAllah this December.The only issue is they are asking for docs in 30 days.Can anyone help me out on this case please?Or anyone else who is a Nikkah only case?
