Should be enough to cover her expenses to come to Canada and return to pakistan. Also enough for her stay while she is here, (food, health insurrance, rent if any etc etc). I applied for a TRV in June, what I did was just mutiply $1,500 x number of months she would stay + an extra $3000. I was asking for 5 months so I showed around $11,000. But best to double check and do your research.

thanks for your response...last thing shoud this $11000 amount be deposited in her account in pakistan before applying trv or she can show my bank account statement of this amount $11000 ?

I showed them my account and provided a letter of financial support explaining that I will be sponsoring her visit entirely as she is totally dependent on me for financial support etc.

On a side note, Did you guys have a PR application currently pending as well?

yayy, Also just checked, https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/check-processing-times.html

They updated the processing time for Visit Visa to 237 days!

its too much 8 months for trv approval..it looks like a step mother dealing of Canadian immigration with pak applicants

Can I see your timeline please? Just wondering if a TRV would be worth applying for in your case. I applied on June 26th and havn't heard anything back yet. It was showing 47 days when I applied, then a month after that it showed 137, now it shows 237.

biometrics done = jan 2020
file transferred = 17 feb,2020
AOR2 on = 17 July 2020
after that nothing

Based on what I've experienced the TRV just gave me the satisfaction of knowing I tried everything in my power other then that though, I feel it was a waste of $100 and time gathering documents. Do you think it'll be worth applying for?
