July 9th applicant here. Fiel transferred to LVO Dec 17th and since then no news. Looks like they are not getting back to us for another couple of months based on what i see. This is just ridiculous.

This is insane. Honestly this is a crooked system. They have no right to delay the applications for no reason and keep families apart. This is crimination against people from Pakistan. I see people from European countries and even India, their files get transferred to Missisauga and total application time is about 4-5 months.

I don't know what to do. I cant speed up this process. But I am definitely sick of this immigration nonsense in Canada.

Am Nigerian presently living in Sweden, but i can say that the system is fucked up. The way LVO treats files is absorbed and there should be a way people can speak out against these injustice

Still waiting to pass eligibility and background check, both are in progress

Don’t loose your hope yet and stay patient coz it can take long long time. I am October 2017 applicant and still stuck in background checks so you can imagine. If you are lucky your process can end in 12 months if not it can take way longer. It’s been only 7 months for you and if you are loosing it right now it can be way worst later if you don’t hear anything back from them. Just pray that it ends within 12 months

It is frustrating. It is the LVO that takes so long. I don't understand how it works. One of the fellow member got their answer ( for spouse visa) in 8 months. For mostly it takes 12 months or more.
It is unfair that they take less time for some and more time for others.
Even though my application is straight forward and a clear case still it is taking ages.

Police certificate is a must document that needs to be submitted and it is also mentioned in the documents list.

probably he is saying that they didnt ask for it again , because police character certificate is valid for six months only. if LONDON visa office get their hands on your case after the time period of validity of your police certificate they ask for it again .

Right! Yeah I misread the comment my bad. My police certificate was valid for 3 months which is now expired. So I have to submit a new one again.
