It expired probably.

Question: By what point in time should one expect to receive an interview request? Can it happen at any point in time of the application? Or is this usually indicated sooner so as to inform the PA and give him/her enough time to prepare and arrange for the interview?

they send out a convocation letter to the PA a month in advance .. so yes, you will have time to prepare .. now, if and when you do get the letter, order GCMS notes right away so you can read the notes made on your file by the reviewing officer .. it gives you an idea of what they found out in your file .. that gives you some hints to prepare at least .. there are questions that previous PAs have been asked .. you can find these questions in our spreadsheet .. there is a link in my signature below ..

Thank you for the detailed note, AHC. I will certainly have a look at the questions on the spreadsheet. We are at 10 months since we submitted our application (September 2017 applicant) and from what I know, we have been told that an interview is not needed. Does this mean that the interview is waived for us?

But why though ? 2018 hai Bhai, what about gender equality? :p

It definitely looks like the female applicants are getting through quicker with their applications. Even their background checks are done faster.
It was confirmed in another canadian immigration website .
