Hello everyone. LVO emaild me on May 16 that my file is undergoing for routine background check. And its been 2 weeks. How long usually LVO take to complete the bgc. I am a june 18 2017 applicant. And i have been waiting for almost 11.5 months. How long will they take to make desicion.?

As you’ve stated previously, you’re a May 2017 Applicant. Which marks your 1 year now. Please don’t give up, I’m sure you’re at the very end of your process InshaAllah. All prayers for you, you’ll hear good news soon. Did you submit voluntary proofs in between the process? ( chat logs/tickets if he made any visits to you. Etc) I’ve heard it helps the case a lot

I got an email from LVO requesting more proofs and documents on 17th may 2018. We submitted everything we had right away.
We also got a reply from CIC , i sent an enquiry through their web based inquiry section. They said my file is still in process and they will process as soon as possible.
Lets hope for the best. And do pray for me, please.

IRCC / LVO don't care about personal issues at all. They don't go by courteous matters. They go by timing and rules and their set polices.
I am a Sponsor and my mother lives with me who is already in her 80s and very sick and needs 24x7 attention as she is on medical treatments and on medicines. I have submitted her medical reports along with her Family Physician medical letter alone with my application but LVO is not going to expedite my case and it's already crossed its 10.5 months now.
Tell you hubby to stay where ever he is and let you stay with your mother. Your case already crossed 12 months so soon you will hear some good news Insha Allah!

Background check is something they don't really have control over. Some are done in few days, some weeks and some months. Hopefully it'll be done soon, depending on several factors. Has he travelled a lot ? Any pre arrival letter yet ?

This is a medical form which will have your details on it. They will send you immediately. No need to wait by sending unspecified emails. Write these details and they will send you this form for u yo do ur medical examination

Yes he travelled malyasia and thailand may be 8 to 9 times. And we didn't get any pre arrival letter yet.

Got passports with visa stamped of my Niece and sister today. It took one week for stamping process. May 26 applicant.

Now waiting for our turn.

I emailed LVO 13 days ago. No reply yet. Since i have a representative, is there a possibility they might have sent a reply on my lawyer's address.
