Don't get dis-hearted.
only a fraction of people come online and tell their story on this forum.
I believe that there are lots of people out there who don't share their updates here. May be because their case is straight forward. or may be because they are getting updates and things done more quickly for them.

Also, I am really not happy to say this, but people of our community are very reluctant to share their experience online.

Perhaps but generally judging by how many people haven't received the acknowledgement letter yet it seems to have slowed down quite a bit. Ya they're paranoid mostly, our community needs to start helping one another. Unfortunately, a large majority in our community are competitive and envious. Why not pray for each other and wish well. Imagine what they could accomplish if they simply worked together. These forums and groups help pass time a lot and you learn so much.

1. Hi i e mailed lvo to inquire about my app status because on gckey it says add docs needed and medical results they are awaiting for but I received no amon gckey nor personal email. Anyways i inquired last month on the 25th of April and last week on the 17th I received a response saying they sent my husband the med request and pcc request back in December before it transferred to lvo which was Jan 30. In the email it stated the email it was sent on and surprisingly enough they got the wrong e mail on record for my hubby ! .... they suggested we check our spam folder ... so 5 months back and not once did they tell us hey w need docs ftom u plz send them after that!:/
   I respondef and corrected the email and attachrd the generic info firm witg all the contact info on it which was the one we sent to them when submitting our app
   So yeah they have a wtong email nowhere close to wjat my husbands actual email is
   Uts been a week and havmt got any update about it or anything like if they sent a med request and its serious they should immediately resend it so we can continue with caee anf it stops lingering.
   Now im just sitting here frustrated about all this
   All these momths wasted and no progress im sure the app is sitting in lvo untouchrd until we get med done once they decide to send us that form thwt is ugh
   Still eligibility and bcg to do ugh i dont see it coming along
   I am an Oct 17 applicant

hey dont worry too much about it. i am also oct 17 applicant and my medical and everyrthing has been done but the file is still sitting untouched, so you are likely not delayed as they have not gotten to any october apps

i have noticed it takes 12 business days minimum for them to update docs you send via email or webform to LVO

I'm muslim and mine was exactly the same. Second marriage, one function, and no walima. There was a reason we didn't do walima. It's not a must as long as you can explain regardless of religion. Did you do the infamous 'rukhsati' and take pictures?

Nope ! No rukhsati- when it was time to go , everyone was already out of the banquet hall since they turned off the lights at 10pm- lol so we just walked outside - maybe 1 pic walking out- totally forgot to take pics with the decorated car- I regret it tho - cuz it was beautifully done-

did you get any message that your file has been transfered to London? I would recommend you call the IRCC number and speak to an agent about it so they can confirm the correct contact email and they can advise you accordingly

Yes on7dec i got a SA and sch a form request and month in half later i got an email that my file has been transferred to london jan 30

have you linked your file to GCKEY? you should have gotten the medical request on GCKEY also

Yep ive linked it i check there frequently its 0 messages since feb when i was able to link it

yea probably because the file was linked late after the SA. usually they send medical around the time they ask for Sched A. they then probably tried to email it but since email was wrong you did not get it.

i would suggest call IRCC early in the morning when they open at 8am.
