When did the status change to "in process" in ECAS? Status was never in process. Went straight from app received to decision made
When did the status change to "decision made" in ECAS? June 08, 2015
What additional docs were requested? Docs to prove that sponsor is currently living in canada

Which address do I have to send my passport to Islamabad for visa issue?

Contact your local VFS, they will send your passport on your behalf. They have a fee of Rs. 1,550/= indeed.

AoA,

I am Aug 2014 applicant.
I received police clearance certificate request from LVO on 27 May 2015 and medical reassessment request on 28 May 2015 from Dehli VO.
I sent my PCC on 01 June and got my re-medical done on 09 June 2015.
My current ecas status says "application received".

what should I expect now? whats next.

I don't think if there is VFS in Abbottabad or in Peshawar. I can send it by TCS and deliver it to my house house. Is this is the right address of Canadian high commission in Islamabad;

I just received the following email from LVO in reply of my case specific inquiry. Please advise experience members; what & when to expect now ? What can be asked in interview ? What documents will they be asking for ? After interview, when will they ask for PPR etc.

Dear Applicant,
Please be advised that your medical examination results have been received, and they are valid until 25-03-2016.
Please note that an Immigration Officer has determined that an interview is required. This interview will take place in Islamabad by an Immigration Officer based in London, during an area trip.
We expect to conduct one area trip in each quarter of the year, and will be in contact with you approximately one month prior to the interview.
Please await further contact.

So the 36 months process time is wrong for Pakistani sponsor applicants? Is it 11 months? that means if i sponsor my wife from pakistan now (got married in april 2015) she will be here in a year? WOW i thought it takes 2-3 yrs, it only take less than a year wow

Our lawyer sent an inquiry and they responded saying it's still within the service time and they will respond in due course. The process takes one and a half year. Does that mean it will take long or can it happen early too? Its 4 months since the medical.

Their timeline says 28 months that's over 2 years.

It varies from case to case but they apparently dont respond before a year and a half. Thats what our lawyer said before filing the case too that on average it takes a year and a half. It can happen earlier too and it can take time but theres no point in sending an inquiry if you're within the time frame. I got my medical and rprf request in the 9 month thats Feb 2015. No additional documents were needed and everything else is complete. Waitimg for another year after that just doesnt make sense.

Hey everyone,

Few quick questions regarding the application, what should be the validity of a police check from Pakistan? My husband's police check was issued last year October, 2014 but there is no expiry date on it. We didn't apply earlier but I am applying for his sponsorship this month. So is it good to include the same one or should we have a new recent one? Also, do we require to have his medical done and submit it with the application?
My husband already came to Canada on a TRV for our son's delivery in December, 2014. Should I include that as well with my application, his trip was a month long?
