Hey, you will need to get it attested at a specific government office, I believe where you are applying from. Do you have your Urdu Nikkah Nama?
We applied for my husband from Lahore, he got the English and Urdu Nikkah Nama Attested from an office in Islamabad. It was stamped by an officer. Hope that helps! Good luck!

Only if it is not in english. Passport biodata page is already in english so no need to translate.

Do not send original documents, you will not get it back. They used to return originals back before when they used to ask for originals. Now they specifically say do not send originals unless specifically asked.

AOA, hope everyone is doing well. I was a silent reader of this group but like to share my timeline and experience with u guys. Alhamdulillah My husband got PPR today. We applied on March 24, 2017, got our acknowledgement email on April 7,2017. Medical request on April 9, did medical April 11, 2017. We sent background declaration and police certificates voluntarily in April as well (no request from cic). Our file was transferred to lvo on June 17, 2917 and they started processing on June 19. It was long and stressful waiting time for us untill nov 8, 2017 where they requested Urdu nikal nama and registration certificate from us. Then they requested proof of my residence in Canada and my Hubby police certificate plus explanation doc regarding his Canadian visit visa rejection on dec 15, 2017. We received invitation to pre arrival services on dec 29, 2017. My hubby background went in progress in first week of jan 2018 and got decision made and passport request on jan 17. He physically submitted his passport in Islamabad on jan 29, 2018 and got it back today. Overall it was quite long process but finally the wait is over alhamdulillah.

U can provide anything like bills, proof of income etc to show that u were living and working in Canada at that time. I provided my apartment rent receipts and letter from employer that I was in Canada. I mentioned in my application that I will visit my jimmy in Dubai( he was living in dubai) and they lvo asked the proof that I am in Canada.

Why do you think it is a refusal for you ? Did you get GCMS notes or got any pre-arrival email ?
