You should inform LVO right away with the baby's birth certificate or long form whatever it is called in Pakistan. Use Webform, and LVO email address to send the form and a letter explaining what the form is. Have you visited or are planning to visit your child? if so, send your flight itinerary along with it. Since your status is PR, make it short trip around 2 weeks. But DO visit.

How long does it typically take for them to begin processing your background check after London office recieves/begins processing your application?

Does the status always change on cic when they start?

file has been at London VO for almost 6 months now. BGC still not started. No set time lots of variables to take in account.

Yup it definitely isn't easy, the wait is super annoying. How do you contact your MP ?

I called them. They have asked me to come in next week to sign a consent form and then it will take about a week for her to get the status update on our file.

I need your help some one might have replied already about the question I am now going to ask but I would be really thankful if you guys can reply again.
Background : I have applied in July 2017 under Family class for my wife she is in Pak and I am in Canada on PR. Everything CIC asked (Medical, Sch A, PCC) was done and last correspondence that I have got from CIC is they have transfer my file to London and in next few days we have got baby.
Now my 1st question is : How should I tell LVO about our baby ? is there any e-mail where I needs to send an e-mail or any thing else ?
Second question is: What documents do we need to provide to CIC for our baby ? I want to prepare asap so when they request I will forward them right away.

Please advise. your responses will be appreciated. Thanks all.

You will have to start with getting a birth certificate of the baby which has both mothers and fathers name. Then Form B and a pakistani pasport. Once you have all these, then drop a case specific inquiry or an email to lvo to inform them about the addition of the dependent to this applciation. Birth certificate and passport will be attacked to the email. Then they will send medical instructions to get the medical done of the baby.

Which month-year applicant are you?

Ok, dont worry and write a letter of explanation to them. Someone i know did this and it worked for them.im listing the main points they used in their reply.

1) In Pak, NN is available in 2 languages Urdu and English and either can be used to register a marriage. We used the only the English Nikkah Nama to officiate the marriage and the same was registered at the Union Council where it was stamped and the Marriage was registered with the government authority. Therefore we cannot provide a copy of the Urdu NN.

2) At the time of the Nikkah we did not know that an Urdu version of NN will be required for the application. We believed that an English NN and a bilingual Nadra marriage certificate will be sufficient and we would not even need to get any document translated for immigration purposes

3) Additionally as my husband/wife (sponsor) has spent most of his/her adult life in Canada, and he/she felt more comfortable using an English NN, compared to an Urdu one. The English version was easier to read, understand and sign.

Please note that the NN we submitted with the applcation is a copy of a true and original English NN used at the time of the Nikkah. It is not a translation of any document. It has the seal of tge Union Council on it and was used to obtain the bilingual Nadra marriage certificate issued by the government.

We didn’t find anything from gcms notes the reason of our interview but what we are guessing from our relationship form imm 5532 is that we didn’t give initial detail that matchmaker introduced our families .we only mention parents arranged our marriage.
Question: was your marriage arranged
Describe how your marriage arranged.By whom when and where .
And second question do your close family friend know your relationship we put correct date for principal applicant met sponsor
But we forgot to mention that my family met my husband first time on airport instead we put the date we met him at our home first time .We also have Airport pictures and affidavit signed by our matchmaker.

We have interview after 2 weeks so my question is at this time we need to clarify to them via email or web? Or we can just go for the interview and mentioned there. We also have a bunch of proof of relationship( honeymoon pics,joint bank accounts,insurance policy ,recent visit ,WhatsApp chat log etc ) can we submit online now ?

Now its a bit frustrating as we didnt have any criteria for the interview process Although the nikkah was 2015 and we applied in 2017 . Do u think i should be well prepared and how long does it take for a decision after the interview is done . Is there anyone in the same boat ?? please guide how should i prepare

No need to submit anything now. Take all proofs to the interview. I dont have interview experience but its better to explain anything to the interviewer only if they ask. Landing_PR can give more insight on this.
