No i don't have access to mycic. On my ecas the last update i got was "Medical results have been received" and that was about 10 months ago

I applied through a lawyer and he's a pain in the neck honestly. Asking him to do something is so annoying I hate asking him it feels like im begging him

Don't believe me. That person still hasn't received passport request. Only the principal application status on Ecas changed to Decision Made. You can join fb group and ask them directly. There's no need to call bogus case. It took me 9 months to get visa as well.

I wanted to inquire as to what are the current timelines of London Visa Office for processing spouse sponsorship? [Considering that I am in Canada and applying for my Spouse Sponsorship for my spouse in Pakistan]

3-4 applicants from 2017 got their cases processed in 5 months. however some 2016 cases are also pending. I was a Sep 2016 applicant and got visa in 9 months.

My husbands medical expired in april and still no medical request. I applied in August

Ask your lawyer if he got a medical request. Usually they forget to forward emails to clients. Additionally u can enquire the status of your application from LVO and ask about re medical as well.

Just wanted to share some information regarding ordering GCMS notes, according to my MP when you order your notes the whole application gets ON Hold thus adding further delay on your process so he recommended not doing so and instead get info from CIC or directly thru MP office.

Just wanted to share some information regarding ordering GCMS notes, according to my MP when you order your notes the whole application gets ON Hold thus adding further delay on your process so he recommended not doing so and instead get info from CIC or directly thru MP office.

Thanks but i dont think this is true. I ordered my notes on 30th April, on 8th May my eligibility was passed, BGC were started and on 18th May I got PPR. So u can see that officers were working on my file. Separate officers responsible for ATIP notes generate the electronic notes not our immigration officers.

Thanks for posting what your MP told you but I agree with MM345, I highly doubt that notes would cause any delay in processing at all. The notes are electronically generated from the management system and shouldn't take more than a few minutes to generate.

I also dont believe him, may be he wants people to not inquire what is definitely inhumane treatment from CIC and Canada. They portray being champions of human rights, complete BS. Look at their policy towards bringing families together 1- 2 years of processing time ??? Same goes for parents visa. Honestly I would not put Canada any better than other countries, in fact worst than US in terms of processing.

Provide Your Application and/or your UCI number at the beginning. Then mention that your writing in regard to above application received by CIC on xxx date.
Then ask your query/status update.

I would disagree because I know first hand many refugees who have been rotting in the US because of their immigration policies. Sure if you have money you can sponsor parents faster there, here at least rich or poor everyone suffers the same amount lol.

Jokes aside though, I have hope from the new processing time and application process, it will take time for them to figure it out of course and I think that's what we are seeing, a little bit of this and that but once they get this going, it should be a pretty straight forward process. As for the parents/grand parents lottery they did make a total mess of that and are now working to fix it. (hopefully)

Just getting curious how long it takes to get Passport stamp after submitting the passport?

My wife has submitted her passport for a stamp on July 11th at Karachi office.
