Has anyone any idea how long does it take to get the PPR i got re med request on 25th Feb and done medical on 5th March since no change on ecas still showing Application Received and no communication. Can any senior member please advice or help?

file transferred in july 2014
and since then no reply and status shows application received

Hey, I have the exact same timeline as you.
Still waiting for the remedical request or anything at this point.
I am Nikkah only case but did send proof of Rukhsati and Valima last month.

Salam everybody,

After 8 months lvo is requesting some documents, I have sent my documents to London Visa office by postal mail and have also dispatched all the required documents. I also need to send the documents through email but when I send the email, it always bounces the email with the following message:

Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:

LDNIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca

Technical details of permanent failure:
Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the server for the recipient domain international.gc.ca by mail5.international.gc.ca. [198.103.104.106].

The error that the other server returned was:
550 5.7.1 Error: Rejected
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have tried hotmail, gmail and yahoo but in all cases the email bounces. I am worried about all this as my medical is also expiring this month. Is there a different email address other than this one I have?

what is a total attachment size. it could be a possibility you sending large attachment.

Hi, i wanted to know that once after receiving the stamped passport, when do one has to land in Canada. Is there a time frame (like 3 months or 6 months) and for how long does one need to stay in Canada to get the passport?

Total size 7MB

On the london web portal, it allows you to upload only 3 mb total with each file to be less than 2mb. So may be u could try reducing the file size and then mail.

The COPR will have an expiry date on it. That date will be either:

One year from when your medicals were done
The expiry date of your passport
Generally, the date on your COPR will be whichever of the two dates above comes first.

Please DO NOT email CIC your documents -- even if it just 1-2 docs, pay the cost and have it courierd by FedEx -- I emailed too one time and even though I got the delivery successful notification email, CIC emailed me 1 month later saying that they haven't received my documents.

They will either extend your medical or request re-medical. Or you may get a decision made before that. Only time will tell.

Hi all I just got an email response form lvo and they are still processing the application from July 2014 may 2014
Seems like it will be a while until they get to my December applicant
