Salam,

My application has been filed on 18th March 2014 and file transferred to London on 26th April 2014. I have been following the status online. The last status update was 'started processing application on 7th January 2015. After that there has been no update. Me and my husband have been doing through checks on email as well but unfortunately as of now have not received any response.

When I went through various posts on this forum I have been shocked to read that after the update of processing they would receive a response within a month. Can anyone help me in this regard?

Y dnt u send them an email as for u its been above 12 month so u can inquire ant ur case... When did u medical expired?? Did they ask u for re-med?

Wrong

If you are a PR then you have to spend 180 days/year in Canada for Must in order to qualify for citizenship.
If you are OUTLAND applicant then the sponsor may go out of CA for few months like 3-4 months in a trip and these trips can be 2 in a year by calculating the days you need to spend in Canada

Uhhh, you do realize you can be a PR sponsoring an Outland applicant, right?
And the person is not advising to stay several months outside of Canada if you are a PR.

I am a Canadian Citizen and staying more than 3-4 months in Pakistan. I am sponsoring an outland applicant.

Is sponsor PR or Citizen?
Sponsoring husband or wife?

Hi can any one tell me ... once the file ia "in process" at lvo ... he long does it take to get visa roughly???

Today i got reply from Mp very frustrating. They dont even do detail inquiry just make initail call to office. Your file is in que for review, processing time for pakistani case is 36 months so we are hesitant to inquire before the expiry of that time. Send me the links to check the online status and processing times.
I think they dont bother too much....................

Well, that's how they are playing now. When they need our votes, they come to the mosques, grocery stores and every other place where we socialize. When we need something in return, they don't even bother to get a little information !!

It happened to me as well. I wish our MP was still Jim Kerry

And hw exactly pm can help us with our process?? Im lost.. we should contact them nd say wat.. ?? Nd we should randomly contact them or based on the city we r living in?

Type your postal code in that website to find MP of your district. Get an appointment and talk to him / her to do a case inquiry.
Sometimes they help to get the process expedited.

I have a friend who follows politics very closely. He did his case inquiry through an MP and got his process expedited. His spouse got the visa / landed in 7 months.
No guarantees but it is worth a shot.

Received my GCSM Notes today . The last notes Created on 2015/01/27 shows. Response from CPCM as below. File to EM for refusal decision. Does this means my case has been refused.

Why will they refuse u?? Who r u sponsoring? Is that ur first sponsor?? Did they return ur originals?
