Can I ask you when did your wife go for re-medical? And how long did it take to get the background checks done?

No idea about Background things. I am not able to attach application on MyCIC so i dont know.
I think, BGC were already complete. on interview, visa officer told us that he needs to know if marriage is genuine ( i said comme on man, we have 2 kids) An how he sent me out of room and did interview of my wife for one hour. later he interviewed me for half hour. He concluded that marriage is genuine but he needs to verifiy some other documents with the government then he will send us email. I asked for remedical request ( as it was expiring ) he said not at this time.
He said 2 things to my wife
I am satisfied that marriage is genuine
i am not satisfied of some papers submitted so i have to verify these papers, if papers will be fine then i will let you know through email for further proceedings otherwise you will not be elligible to enter canada.
2 weeks after she recieved remedical request ( the time i was in Departure louge of Airport to fly back to canada.) now she recieved PPR.

And yes your wife will have to visit the VFS in Lahore to drop off / pick up her Passport. You can't directly send it through any other courier service.

My brother visits lahore quite often, Can he go to VFS lahore on behalf of my wife to submit / pick up passport.

We received our passport back today. it took about 13 business days passport to be returned. I have one question, some of our original documents like (Education Certificates) were all originals and they haven't been sent back. who should I email london or islamabad high commission? Can someone provide their email. Thank you and i hope everyone gets their PPR soon.

Thanks for information, i am in Canada and i have to manage how to send my wife to go to lahore.
Is it possible that any one else go to Visa office Lahore to submit and collect the passort instead of my wife.

I also have applied for proof of citizenship of my kids in Islamabad hogh commission and i have sent the application package directly though post office. is it correct?

As far as I know your wife (the applicant) has to go submit the passport and requested documents themselves. After submission, they will give a receipt and paper of instructions for pp collection. I just checked, there is an option that some close family member of your wife can collect the passport on her behalf but he has to bring a few docs (listed on this paper).

So arrange for her to travel with somebody to submit.

No idea about proof of citizenship process.

13 business days???? Do you remember the actual date of submission?
I believe you submitted it at Islamabad VFS. I also submitted there and today is the 13th calendar day....i was hoping to receive it by this week...the tracking is useless as well.

Islamabad visa office would not have your original documents.

I believe you submitted it at Islamabad VFS. I also submitted there and today is the 13th calendar day....i was hoping to receive it by this week...the tracking is useless as well.

We submitted it on May 12 and it was transferred to Canadian officials on May 15. Tracking thing is absolutely useless but you should be getting the message to pick up passport shortly. I will give both Pakistan and Canadian address so which ever they return it to would be great. lets know if you get documents back when you receive your visa.
