Why are you discouraging people unnecessarily? Please stop guessing about their internal rules. Lots of people get TRV. Lots of people don't.

Obtaining a TRV requires filing documents that support the TRV. Usually a pretty big account balance helps, and correctly filled forms go a long way.
Most of pakistani applicants fail to obtain TV because of mistakes in visa application.

Dual-intent is allowed by IRPA. Just gotta be smart about it all. Our people simply can't even fill simple forms so what do ya expect.

I am not discouraging anyone. He has asked for an input on TRV and I am only stating what I know from countless people here that have applied and there outcome. Rest everyone can do as they please. :

application submit CPC Mississauga date: june 2016

approval letter of eligibility: august 2016 and file transfer to LVO

Got letter from CPC Mississauga of reassessment of eligibility: Jan 2017. Not approved, refunding fee and case stopped.

called CIC help center same day and long conversation finely they found a mistake by Immigration officer and file went to "in process" again

called next day to confirm: and note been updated on my file as "In process"

still waiting for next step

reason to share it. if some one had same experience like my application please let me know here.

However, CIC help center guys were really helpful and they also try to solve this matter "urgent"

i also wrote feedback on CIC website about my situation and left compliment for CIC call center people.

i believe if someone help you they deserved to be appreciated and human make mistake try not to criticize them.

Depends. If you have provided your email address for her contact then you get it. If its hers than she get it. In any case if you link your application to MYCIC online. Then the letter will come to your account online.

Continue to GCKey. After you create your account, link your PR application to the account. (If you do not have a representative (lawyer), you will be able to link your application to your account)


1. Log in with GC Key account.
2. Permanent Residence > Family Class (Spouses)
2. Application Number and Family Name - Copy/pasted application number from email (including the F) and entered PA's last name.
3. City of Birth - I entered 1 space (hit spacebar once)
4. Country of Birth - Selected PA's country of birth
5. Passport Info - Did not enter any passport info
6. Other Application Info - Filled out the other application info as per our application and put '2' as the number of members in the application (Assuming 1 PA, 1 Sponsor, 0 dependents)

In case of any query, feel free to ask.

Do note once you link your application to MYCIC. You or your spouse will no longer receive correspondence through email. All correspondence will be received in your MYCIC account. . So you will have to check it regularly.

thanks i will and yeah i was making some mistakes. i realize after reading this post

i was filling out passport number and also i was saying 1 person

thanks i will try again after 24 hours and let you know it block for 24 hours (imagine how many times i tried)
