I applied for my gcms notes on 3rd of december and have not recieved any responce yet.
I sent them an email atip-aiprp@cic.gc.ca to enquire with my reciept number and i havent recieved any response yet.

Could anyone tell me how and who do i contact to get my gcms notes?

I am a september 2015 sponsor with the background check still in progress on mycic.

I applied for notes on Dec 13th and expecting a reply this week. Maybe try sending them another email? I'd imagine they would be some backlog due to holidays.

Mine is a nikkah only case submission and we have completed our rukhsati, honeymoon etc as of January 8th, 2017.

Do you think it is wise to send them additional pictures and documents or should I wait for them to request these documents (what are the pros and cons from experience)?
Is there an easy way to submit additional documents or do we have to mail it to them?
If I should send a file, what all should I attach apart from the obvious (reception pictures, rukhsati pictures, honeymoon pictures, phone records, plane tickets etc.)

if u don't send them evidence of rukhsati, expect to be placed in interview queue and delay on your file.
Send it ASAP with letter informing them of completion of marriage rituals, etc.
Mail them if you can, so they can see real pictures and documents. Include a marriage invitation card of your marriage as well.
Keep a copy of everything

I'm going to send LVO voluntary proof of my recent visit + support.

I'm planning to send the following:
- Passport stamps
- Copy of return ticket
- Boarding passes
- 5-10 pictures of my visit (dinner, etc with spouse and family)
- Money transfers since filing my application
- Chats and call logs (to the extent possible) since filing my application.

I'm waiting for my notes (should come this week or next week). 3 questions:

- Should I send this proof asap or wait for notes? Given June applications are currently being processed, would 1 -2 week matter in sending this evidence?
- I've seen different opinions on this here; should I send it via CSE or mail? or both?
- How do you think I should organize this i.e. create one PDF with everything with first page as a cover letter?

Yes but do get a copy of the medical so you can send them incase they ask.
