Well you should sit back and wait for your medical to get expire and then you will get re-med. once you get re-med, the rest of the process will take only 1.5 to 2 months to get your visa issued.

and you get re-med request when your background checks are complete. so in my opinion your background checks are underway. and there is nothing you can do beside wait.

i dnt think so police verification before medical.... my remedical request came on 23rd december 2014 and police certificates request on 27 january and i am also not agree with 2 month i am still waiting for ppr and its 3rd month is going to finish

Sh52, you are right, LVO updates ECAS irregular basis. So it might b that you application in progress but still says APP received

However trend shows that they are curreblty working on June , Mid July files....
There are a lot of July files if you noticed.

Not really, the processing time of STAGE 1 is nowadays over 60days.
You can check yourself in their website...

Donot panic and relax, you will hear somethin in April and Good luck with process

I think most cases stall if they ask for further proof and/or docs (which in your case is the police certificate). Cases that dont require correspondence from the applicant after remedical dont take as long from what i see.

I have googled the letter and it seems a standard request. However, I am confused about:

-> How to schedule for a medical appointment? For the upfront medical (at time of applying), we emailed IOM Pakistan to setup an appointment and went to their location in Karachi. However, in this letter, they mention to take the email printout and go to physician to setup appointment -- does she simply print out the email and take it to IOM location? Or do we still email IOM to setup appointment?

-> CIC attached a blank form (titled 'REASSESSMENT FORM') as well as asked to bring IMM5419E (MEDICAL REPORT / MEDICAL HISTORY QUESTIONS) with her. Does she need to pre-fill the bio-data and questionaire section or does she simply bring the forms blank?

-> For upfront medical, IOM requested her to bring passport size photographs, passport photocopies, etc. This time, besides the forms, they haven't asked for anything else. Can anybody advise on this?

I actually wanna know about the processing time in my case based on your judgement please.

My application was submitted: Dec 2013
Transferred to LVO: January, 2014
Upfront Medical expired: Nov 7, 2014
Medical Request: Nov 22, 2014
Medical Done: Dec 9, 2014
Request for copy of Bio-page of Passport, a picture, eye-color, height, and form of family information: Dec 16, 2014
all of the above were sent: Dec 17, 2014.
Acknowledgment email: Dec 17, 2014.
Its been 3 months and Since then No further communication/ correspondence from CIC or LVO.

Can someone let me know how long it ll take to get a call / request for passport or interview please?

I think I figured it out.
When I sent my application to Mississauga, they charged me $1590 CAD on my credit card.
The actual cost of the spouse sponsorship is $1040 CAD or maybe $1100? So I believe I was double charged for RPRF fee.
Hence, I got a refund of $550.

Sponsorship application: $75
Principal Applicant: $475
RPRF fee: $550
------------------
Total $1100

Would be interested to know how much sponsor's paid.
Although I don't mind paying double if they make the processing time twice as fast ;D

dear fellows,

i am about to file the sponsorship of my husband. Have got some questions and confusions if some one can clear plz.

1. in sponsorship guide it has been mentioned that we have to send the original nikah nama, original birth certificate and educational diplomas and degrees (it has been mentioned that this is only for Pakistan). do we have to send the original of all these docs?

2. Secondly the police clearance certificate is issued only for 6 months. will we have to submit a new one in case our case doesn't get finalise during this period just like medical?

3. should we pay all fee in start? how much will we have to pay? if i pay through credit card should i give them my card number only on prescribed form and they will deduct the required amount by themselves?

4. our nikah nama is in urdu, but do have marriage certificate that is in english will it be enough to send urdu nikah nama along english registered marriage certificate or we should get the nikah nama translated in english too?

Hi rose dar looks like our timeline is almost identical. We submitted police certificate on 17th Jan and still waiting to hear back from them. I am praying that we hear back from them this month...
