DM Oct 1. I have to send email to LVO and ask about validity of visa because medicals expire on Nov 5 and they havent said anything about extending it or landing before a certain date. Either way, I am heading to Pak and returning on oct 29 so I really hope my wife can come back with me.

lol....I was just excited to read the approval news and didn't even search if you were the sponsor or applicant

my heart drops Whenever I see processing time as 24 months 4 Pakistanis. Cases like yours bring hope that Lvo can process cases faster than 24 months ;D

24 months processing time for Pakistan doesn't apply to us as our VO is in London so the processing time of UK applies which as of October 3 is 14 months (including assessment of sponsor: 32 days)

Yes i attached original ones although there are no instructions specific to them on cic website

However, do make photocopies of all boarding passes and reciepts u attach with application for God forbid any later requests or queries.

CIC didn't define a rule about boarding passes tht i hv come across yet. As it's an optional item to use as evidence to support relationship claim, i feel a copy would do the job. However, I had sent mine originals as using it fr CIC was the only motive for saving it all along If you would end up tossing thm in garbage later then consider threwing thm in the application package instead ;D

Now that i think about it i really dont know what my husband attached with our application...maybe original receipts and boarding pass or copies..but i know for sure he scanned all of those to keep a record.

If the words are as follows, then yes this is the Sponsorship Approval and most likely this is the file transfer to London date.

"You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. Accordingly, the Application for Permanent Residence for your relative has been forwarded to the visa office in London for further processing."

Does anybody know how I can get confirmation whether IoM islamabad had forwarded my remedies to cic Canada?
I had my appointment at 06 Oct.Doctor saud he will forward my results to cic on monday.I called IoM on Monday they gave me an email adress mhdislamabad@IoM. Int I wrote my uci,passport no. Etc.they replied asking for passport no. Again I replied but so far I have not heard back from them.I am anxious that I will run out of 30 day deadline.

Thats issue...i cnt link cic due to my lawyer.. but lvo demanded updated schedule A from me...which gave me a glimpse that might b my background checks in process.. my medical expiring on 11th nov..

Background check in progress. Medical is review in progress but no updated lines on ecas . The wait is brutal. I'm waiting on Oct 16...then ill send an enquiry.

I think you Mycic account should be updated with the information that your re-medical results have been received. Mycic is not updated each day, they update after a few days.
Whats your current status for medical on mycic?
