amna, you're not the only one. sometimes CIC has outdated information associated with the applicant's UCI, so you'll have to order your GCMS notes if you really want to link the app to MyCIC. however it takes about 30 days for the notes to be delivered, and insha allah i think you'll be finished before then. doc requests give clues as to how strong your application is, and your simple doc request tells me you should not have any problems at all.

ultay seedhay sawal jab poochtay hain doc requests k sath tou zayada lamba process hojata hai.

yeah i'm starting to get a little anxious now because my file is already 8 months old. however because of the delay we saw in may-june, i might have to wait until mid to late august to see progress on my file. i've started checking MyCIC every day and will post here if i see anything change.
What kind of questions are those? I got asked for proof of communication and visit...would that be what your talking about ?

no, proof of communication and visit is also pretty common. the questions i'm talking about are specific and vary from case to case. for example, one of my cousins was asked to provide a letter of explanation detailing why his mother didn't attend his wedding even though she lived in pakistan.

I really hope they just dont sit and wait for incoming docs requested.. they should start working on dec apps mean while !!
yes, but jumping ahead without finalizing earlier apps would be messy. what they usually do between doc requests is begin security/background checks, visit islamabad to conduct interviews (this happens once every quarter), and finalize older applications. for my last point, note that all PPRs we saw during these past 2-3 weeks were for 2014 or early 2015 applicants.

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

It was my intuition telling me that these nov apps will take same time like oct apps because they are nearly 300 in number just like oct apps..
Seeing this i am hoping dec will pass on soon as they are just in 90's..

Apart this i was wondering if a person can't visit genuinely due to his job .. How does cic sees this??

I see, that makes sense. Also 9 month started on August 4th! Really hoping for something end of this month because I noticed with the October applicants after getting doc requests there was a wait for about 1-2 months in order to get ppr ...in my case it has been 1 month since docs were requested July 6th, and I sent them July 19th...along with medical re assessment...praying for everyone !!!

CIC can ask for a letter from the boss stating the reason his employee can't go on vacation.
I saw a post on this forum where someone was asked for a letter from his boss, since CIC knows that employees get 2-3 weeks of vacation every year.

CIC might also ask one if he/she couldn't visit spouse in Pakistan, why didn't the spouse try to visit he/she in Canada.

I assume CIC might ask your husband for a letter from his boss mentioning that he doesn't have vacation days yet, which I believe he can get from the company.

As for spouse visiting Canada, I don't think CIC will accept the reason that since many cases get rejected that's why the spouse didn't apply. They can ask for the proof of attempt to get visit visa even though it was rejected. Since there will be proof, less chances of Red Flags :-[

Also, it all depends on what kind of visa officer gets your file.

I personally had not seen any case in which the officer requires the letter from the boss. my husband is doing 2 jobs and he is also not able to take a leave from them as he has recently started the jobs and they know it well that it is not easy for everyone to afford an expensive trip of only 2-3 weeks.

anything could happen. i know of a case where a november applicant got DM at the same time as the october applicants, so it's definitely possible and there's no rule stopping them from doing so. only time will tell.
hey flx nothing new on your Mycic??
i said this before that sept applicants took 6 months, oct appplicant 7.5 months and now the november applicants have crossed their 8-9 month nd no ppr for them. does it mean we december applicant will get things done in our 10-11th month? :(

no updates on MyCIC yet.

yes, it looks that way. worst case scenario, they won't begin working on december until the end of this month.

And can they really ask for the rejected visa attempt??
Like seriously?

No only in worst case when you fail to provide any other evidence of genuine relationship then the applicants submit their rejected visa attempt to show that they want to live with each other and they tried but failed.

hey relax. every case is different.

i read canlii from time to time and there was one case where an applicant was asked at their interview why they hadn't visited each other while the app was in process. the applicant could not provide a valid reason and was rejected. according to the applicant, their lack of visits was seemingly the reason for their rejection... HOWEVER, it turns out the visa officer had a whole bunch of other reasons that made him doubt the relationship, and the reason he asked for proof of visits was because he gave them the benefit of the doubt and wanted them to have one last chance at proving their relationship. some of the major reasons that made the officer doubt the relationship were 1) the husband had a well paying job but never sent his wife any money, 2) they did not have any proof of ongoing communication, 3) the sponsor's parents didn't attend the wedding, and 4) the husband was significantly younger than the wife.

there is never a single reason for why spousal apps get rejected; there are always multiple reasons combined together, but we don't always see this in the notes because CIC has the right to omit information.
