My case is the same... I have a son who is 2 yrs old MashaAllah and i lived with my husband the past 2 years... I sponsored my husband in november 2015 and have submitted proofs like you and also additional docs were requested in july which have been sent... I was told by my MP to wait until the last weeks of August as my time is upto 13 months... I am still waiting for them to request ppr or a DM.. I hope it comes soon by Allah's grace... I don't know how fast do they process even though you have a child but its an authentic proof for sure... I will pray for you and remember me in your prayers as well..... Hope for the best!

i agree, it is unfair. let's wait until fall to see whether or not they're actually serious about it.

Its unfair no doubt to the people who have already waited, however, I feel its a step in the right direction. The way things have been for applicants from South Asia taking 2-3 years I think faster processing needs to be done for "families" particularly spouses. There is "NO" reason at all why spouses have to wait an year or more to come to Canada if after proper review the case looks genuine. If they want more money, so be it, I don't think people that are sponsoring there spouses will cry about an extra $1000 if they know they'll be processed for sure in 6 months. Either this, or give spouses temporary visas cause the wait times are ridiculous.

I guess I am one of the only November applicants who hasn't heard anything. I did send voluntary updates back in May. InshAllah this all ends successfully soon

I am in the same boat.
Any idea what's causing delay? it could be a positive sign that your file is complete and they dont require any additional doc. Goodluck

start checking your MyCIC daily to see whether there are any changes to your eligibility or background check statuses.

Hi there!
Need your help. I applied for my spouse last year may 2015 to be exact. His file was trasferred to London office in July 2015. November they asked us for photocopy of passport, 4 passport pics, landing fee. Then another letter came fir additional documents which we sent in December. Ecas shows in process but I contacted the mp and was informed that it's in eligibility phas. Anyone can help how much time we should speculate for the processing time now. Thanks

lucky . getting a request to pay the RPRF usually meant that the applicant had passed eligibility, but i'm not sure whether that's still the case. regardless, that's a very simple and straight forward doc request. i'm 99% sure you'll get DM or PPR this month. maybe once we see november apps getting finalized it'll be my turn. pray for me because the wait is getting very stressful.

Salam all.... we got decision made on August 1 and received Passport request August 4. Its been quiet a long journey on our side. 2 years and 4 months. Done 3 medicals. Such a roller coaster ride. If its been only one year for you since you applied, just be patient. You all will get there one day. Someone can update my timeline.

A question does anyone know where to submit passport in Karachi. Which service to use. And how long does it take passport to come back. Thanks

So isn't that a re assessment ? That's what I got as well but the emailed labeled it as a re assess instead of a remed...there is a differnce right or am I crazy? I was told told the re med contains more test then the re assessment.

I believe that is reassessment cause I got same thing and it says reassemement

Today my wife received the processed passport with visa stamped and PR documents, AL Hamdulillah,,
Passport submission date is 26 July, 2016 vfs lahore
Passport received on 4th August, 2016

I pray for all my brothers and sisters to reunited with their families soon. Ameen....

yes canada post is fine as long as they can guarantee delivery before your additional doc due date, and if you go with their courier option so you can get confirmation of delivery + a signature.
