Hi Guys,

I just joined this forum... I have been going through this thread, so I thought to share my timeline with you guys:

- File received by CIC Mississauga on July 11;
- I got email from CIC on August 29, 2014 that I have been approved and file has been
transferred to LVO for final proceesing.

Did not get any response after that.

Did anyone get any response from LVO whose file got transferred in August, 2014.
Also, what would be the next step after this and approximately how much longer would it be
for us to get any correspondence from LVO.

My case got rejected with no-appeal. If I want to reapply, I'll have to wait for 3 more years. Could someone please tell me where do I send my inquiry to about my case? To London or to Islamabad? Please send me their email address. Please help me.

sorry. I have gone through your details but I am unable to pickup anything. Your lawyer? What is the story of your husband as few forum friends have pointed especially micmac101.All what I can extract is from your gcms. I am sending you a PM.

Approval Letter sent on 26th June

Recently i got this response from LVO on 9th Feb asking for the following

After an initial review of this file by this office, we require the following:


-CSQ: Quebec selection certificate.
-An explanation for the timeframe of almost 3 years between marriage and submission of your application.
-Copy of passport pages showing entry/ exit stamps as evidence of sponsor’s presence in Pakistan from 08/12 – 02/14. Please provide any other available proof of cohabitation during this period.
-Updated Pakistan police certificate.

Please provide the above within 45 days of this email’s date.


Please guide me should i send the above mentioned documents by email (Scanned) or by post (Mail)?
What is the current status of my application in terms of time duration?
Is my application on the right track?

well, You just have to provide them what they are asking. YOU have to MAIL (COURIER)them , not email....
Well, if you provide adequate docs. , your application will be processed within good time, (my guess 2 months)

But Donot take it lightly......specially "Copy of passport pages showing entry/ exit stamps as evidence of sponsor's presence in Pakistan from 08/12 – 02/14. Please provide any other available proof of cohabitation during this period.".....

Did your sponsor (ur hubby) visited you sooner or later, and how frequently.......also do u hv photos with him when he was here.....
Send all proof that show that you were in touch face to face and sponsor visited you more often...If not, explain what was the reason behind

your application is on right track. Plz send all required documents by scan as well as by DHL. send original PCC. send some photos of your husband with yourself during his visit to Pakistan. Send all communication proofs phone Skype viber tango what s app etc. Any $ sent, any gift sent. Thanks.

Follow what shy_guy said and yes, provide as much proof as you can, also i prefer you send DHL hard copy package instead of e-mail
also write a nice cover letter thanking the opportunity to explain your side and be honest when you reply to the reason of filing your app late, be short , concise and genuine.

Nothing. Just remedical. My documents were complete and i just recently sent them additional proofs in january voluntarily. So i guess they already have updated things may be thats why they didnt ask me for anything except medical.

That included our visit to turkey and my spouse visit to pakistan.. Trips taken with a gap of 10 months.. Entry exit stamps and boarding passes and pictures.. All in pdf files submitted via london portal.
