hi everyone

I had a few questions if anyone can please help me out with my outland spousal application. My wife is Canadian and she is sponsoring me, we currently live in Guatemala with our 3 kids. She is currently not working and hasn't worked in about 5 years.

-In form 5481 they ask for her net personal income for the 12 month period preceding date of application. Can someone help me with what they want or what should I put there, Im not clear on that question what I should write.
-Also its asks number of persons whom you are financially responsible but who are not listed in 5a and 5b. Could these be our sons or not?
- What is an option c printout?
- In another question its asks for proof that you intend to live in Canada, what could I with that question, how and what should I send?
- My wife currently has a bank certificate (with our savings) under her name, should we also send that with the application in order to prove we have some funds to live with or that is not really important?

Thank you very much

The sponsor should be filling out that form. She should put her income after taxes. If she has not worked, then she would put 0.
Option C is a form that you would get by calling CRA. If she hasn't filed taxes, then she should send in a letter explaining why she cannot provide Option C.

If she has a plan for relocating to Canada, she would put that there. If she has job offers or a place to live, include that.

She could include the bank certificate as part of her plan, showing that you will be able to live without requiring welfare.

Thank you for your reply

She is filling out the form, but with regard to taxes and all that, she hasn't lived in Canada since she was 9 years old when she came to Guatemala and where she has been living ever since so not sure what she should do with al those tax and opcion c printout questions?
Our plan is for the whole family to go live in Canada but there is no work offer or anything like that, we just plan on moving and in Canada Ill look for a job to support our family.

thank you

She can include a letter of explanation that she hasn't been in Canada since she was a child and therefore doesn't have an Option C.
