Spousal sponsorship outland, both living outside

Me (brazilian) and my wife (canadian citzen born from Quebec) are married and living in Brazil together, our marriage is recent, but we plan to apply for sponsor immigration. Do you recomend apply with both living outside, or she should back alone and apply for me? This fact make any difference on process?

Outside is ok, as long as your sponsor can prove intent to return to Canada once PR is granted.
