Spousal Sponsorship Open Work Permit

Hi all,

Thank you for your replied in advance and hope everyone's application goes well.

I have applied for inland spouse sponsorship and my sponsor has received the AOR. My agent told me after applying for the work permit, I will soon receive a letter which will allow me to work before the work permit is issued.
I was looking for related info but couldn't find any. Is that accurate? Can I start working after receiving the letter (letter of acknowledgement I guess)?

The interim work authorization letter is a specific letter that lets you know you can start working. Do not start working ahead of receiving that or the approved BOWP. Presumably your agent told you that not everyone receives this letter.

My agent didn't tell me that though. Did you mean that only 'selected' applicants will receive the letter and start working before the official issuance of their work permit?
