Spousal Sponsorship - Mexico VO

Hello! They've just received my application in Sydney, but I was wondering what everyone's timeline has been for those applications that go through Mexico. I know it's a waiting game, but I wanted to get a clearer idea because I'm a planner haha.

I also wanted to know how many have gone through the "they lost my application", it seems it's much more common than I previously thought!

Does everyone get sent over to a VO, or are there some that are worked solely in Sydney?

My application was transferred to Mexico from Sydney in February. It stayed in processing for 6 months and 3 days before I got Decision Made. I'm a September 2018 applicant.

That thread is for everyone, it's a mess trying to discern from regular visitor visas, work visas, spousal, I wanted to see if there was anything a bit more streamlined.

Holyyy!! Hopefully now it won't take long for them to request your passport and you're in Canada (just in time for the winter! haha)

In my case from the time Sydney receive our aplication and until we receive a first aknowledgement 2 months went by, a month after I was requested to submit my medical exams and biometric I did it very quick and sent over
A month after last week I received another letter saying my file was sent to Mexico for further processing no more news.
I am almost at 5 months of wait after submitting papers hope it helps
