Spousal sponsorship - Kids over 22

Hello,

My friend got his application returned because he did not include a few forms related to his kid, who is 21, )0008Dep, birth certificates, IMM5406dep, police certificates etc).

He does not want to include his kid in his application. His kid turns 22 in August. If he waits until she turns 22, will he have to submit all the info, forms and document about his kid or can he just do it on his own?

If he waits until her birthday, she will not have to be included as a dependent on his paperwork.
