Anyone in this forum going to/live in manitoba.?????

Hi all,

Just a quick question. I have known my Canadian husband for 7 years. Been over to see him 6 times now (always have a vacation in that time as well as just chilling in his home city (Ottawa) Have done Thunder Bay/Halifax/USA/Toronto etc..) and got married on 4th April! Am i right in thinking that for this length of relationship and trans-atlantic trips, i won't be called for interview? It doesn't matter if i am of course, i am just curious.

Thank you

Hi,

If you're from a visa exempt country, it is less likely to call you for interview.

Please make sure to submit strong relationship proofs to avoid delay or uncertainties.

Good luck!

This is what i received from my husband VO office this morning...

Good day:

The police certificate for your spouse has been received.

This file is now in queue for review. Once the review is completed you/your spouse will be advised on the step(s) in processing.

Note that your spouse/you will not receive any correspondence from this office until this preliminary review is completed.

Does anyone have any idea how long a preliminary review takes. We submitted our application October 2016.

Hi,

If everything goes well, as per current trend, you will get PR visa/ COPR in next 3/4 months maximum. However every case is unique and time sometimes varies visa office to visa office.

You may collect GCMS notes to know current status of your case file.

Good luck!

Hasan

Thanks Hassan Bhai...This actually takes some weight off my chest.

Hi,

There won't be any issue. If they ask, give honest answer that she planned to return with you.

HI Hassan vai i already got my health card. is there ny other card ?

I was hoping someone can help me out. My wife has a interview at NDVO (new delhi) in a few weeks.

What kind of questions can she expect? And what does she need to take with her when she goes? What proofs will be useful to prove our case at the interview.

I am wondering, I have not received anything about an interview, but if I am from the United States and am currently with my husband in Scarborough, ON where would they probably send me? I can't find it on cic for interview places, and I can't seem to find it now
