Hi all,

My husband's interview was yesterday. The officer asked a few questions about our relationship that he was able to answer (I think properly).
Then the officer said she gonna contact in 3 weeks and told my husband to go back to Afghanistan. (Where we are from). His medical expires May 25. What to expect next?
Thanks

If everything went well, the next step is PPR provided they extend medical. Or before PPR they will ask your spouse to do remedical.

Hello Chiya89,

When is the interview?

Did you collect GCMS notes on your husband's application file?

Why do they need an interview? What are the red flags?

I recommend your husband to go through this thread, check questionnaires, gather relationship proofs and prepare well for the interview.

Good luck!

I just recieved a notice of spousal interview for my immigration to Canada. My wife and I have the interview this week. I have been doing alittle translation jobs online as I dont have a Canadian work permit yet. I am worried that they will ask me if I have been working and what the correct answer should be? Its technically not a Canadian website. I havent claimed any taxes as I am not sure how or who i would file with or even if i am suppose to. I have made under 5000. I did not mention this on my spousal application as I wasnt aware. Can CIC see online work history? is that generally a question that comes up? Is it Legal or not? any suggestions would be appreciated

Are you in Canada? Because if you are, work is work, and it is viewed as income in the eyes of the Gov't here. Even if its online work, you are getting paid for it, and completing it while physically in Canada. It doesn't matter that its not a Canadian website - the point is you are making the money while you are here. So no, its not legal. We used a lawyer with our application and he very specifically told my husband he could not do anything at all during the application process - nothing other than stuff around our house. Couldn't help the neighbour even if there was no payment. So yes, what you are doing is working without a permit, although not sure that CIC can see it or not.

Genuineness of relationships.so kapag alam niyo na genuine ang relationship Hindi niyo kailangan mag alala ..I had my interview and right after the interview visa officer told me that I was approved and sent me a remedical instructions 5 minutes after the interview..Only personal information bout sponsor and applicant, how well do you know your sponsor background .. just be yourself guys, tell the truth and everything will be fine ..
