I have added my spouse to my express entry and her medical request came so we did medical exam, now anybody has an idea how long does it take to get a request from CIC.
Im in canada and she is india so we both will get different emails for passport request or what is the procedure?
Anybody has some problem?

I am currently an student using OSAP. My husband is having his interview in 20 days. Is it a problem if I am not working right now but I was working when I submitted my application? Help please. Thanks

I don't think there would be any problem.
An interview is basically to prove your relationship is genuine.if he convince interviewer there shouldn't be any pblm regarding your work.
My wife was working when we submitted the application.
And now she is in aus with me from 4-5 months and they dint even asked me about her job or something at the interview.
But still it depends on your case

Typical waiting time is 1-2 months but waiting time varies on case to case.
Sometimes it takes more than 2 months for reasons stemming from delay in receiving background check clearance or may be other reasons best known to them. If you obtain your GCMS notes you may have some idea for possible delay.

I want to share my experience regarding me and my husbands interview in islamabad yesterday , i am under constant stress and therefore i would like to take opinion from the members here.
I am a canadian citizen who got married at an early age and ive had my passport since birth as my father was a naturalized citizen. I never visited canada even once not even seen once i had ky son right after and now due to the unstable conditions of our country pakistan me n my husband we decised we should make a move and go to canada for good.my brother who is also a canadian also decided with us. It was a mutual decision my brother has lived in canada for 5 years and studied there and now he is moving back.as his case got done within hardly 8 months.
We were called for an interview at the office because my notes said they doubted pur relation due to limited evidence n lack of photos as i do pardah and observe veil.secondly my notes said further office review of our intention to move is required.
The interview went well.we both attended it.we gave her as many possible proofs as we could or our relation and she said she was a 100% convinced abt our relation and thats the happy part for us as said by VO.
But she said shes not fully convinced abt our intention yo move as we havent made a concrete plan and she will make a decision and work it out.she asked if i have aeen schools for my son or property. I told her i still havent looked at schools but yes we were looking for renting out flats for our stay which costed so n so and also where will we be living.my husband is the director of his company and he is earning quite well.she saie ur husband is making millions here why do u want to leave.we told her when our lives are not secure here my children r not safe whats the point of this money and also he is hoing to continue the same busnews in canada and his father is going to look at the office here.we provided details of enough funds to settle there.i told h3r i need to continue my studies when i go there.she said but u never visited u dont know abt canada.... i told her i was unlucky that i never got a chance to go and abt not knowing my grand mother gramd father my aunts my father my brother all are canadians.i KNOW abt that place.my familys roots r from canada.
In the end she said they will reply in minimum 4 weeks to 3 months. And since they have background checks to make it takes time and she will get bavk by email.
I am so stressed after this.
