It varies from visa office to visa office. Check the respective CIC website or email them.

In Dhaka, Bangladesh even if you don't need an interpreter, most of the time there is always a local interpreter attends the interview with the interviewer!

Hasan

And in australia you have to arrange your own interpreter

Good to know!

VISA OFFICE: Vienna ( also Australia)..

I guess you will bring your own interpreter at the interview and cost, if any, will be borne by you.

Good luck !

Hello Hannah
And friends
I'm happy to know you guys..

I pass my interview ,I appreciate the help I go here.

Next day I got remedical email....

After doing medical next day,

The next I got PPR
I'm so happy ...I thank Jehovah my God so much

Hi Hasan,

Could you help me to get out of dilemmatic situation..
While filling Canada Express Entry form I opted NO for option "If your wife spouse will accompany you to Canada".Reason being if i was choosing YES,my score was going down by 6 points. I got ITA in 55th draw and I submitted my application.

I am planning to file Spousal sponsorship for my wife once I will get PR but recently i learnt that there could be chances that my wife Spousal Sponsorship application may get rejected since i mentioned that she will not accompany me.

Please help me to guide if there are chances that Visa officer will deny her sponsporship simply based on that answer filled by me or that is baseless rumor.

after i replied to vienna about needing an interpreter at the interview they replied that i need to provide the interpreters name and evidence of their qualification.. what kind of evidence?

Yes that will negatively affect your spousal sponsorship but you must have to consult with a very experienced lawyer and sort out everything before proceeding to apply.

Can't she try under skill category?

Hello milac,

Whether your selected person is skilled or qualified to translate your language to English successfully.

You can email them to clarify the point exactly what they are looking for and what make a person to be a qualified interpreter.

Probably they want his educational qualification or some evidences that he can do the job!

Congratulations!

This one entry spousal sponsorship immigration visa will allow you to enter Canada as a landing immigrant and within 60 days you will get the PR card by regular mail directly to your Canadian address. Once you have your PR card, you won't require any conventional visa stamp on your passport. Having PR card in your name means you can travel back to Canada without any visa as long as you maintain your residency requirement which is currently physically stay in Canada for a minimum 730 days out of any 5 year period.
