13K holly crap Id have passed out lol.. I didn't mind the 4G because she sounded like she knew what was going on,, some of her staff was lost, Now we wonder if they actually have ever done a Spousal Sponsorship at all.. THEY ARE ALL LOST lol, Its pretty bad when I noticed they over nighted our package to the wrong address,, I had to send them the Correct address on where inland applications are sent,, Thank god CIC-Miss got it anyway.. and I can only hope they notice I am an Inland Applicant and Not outland.. SHE The so called lawyer, said it was still ok that either address would work lol.. ackkk

She is totally wrong here. Check your AOR to make sure it says "in Canada class" or "SCLPC" or "Inland". Otherwise, she dun f'ed it up. There is different addresses for a reason. If you sent courier, to the courier counter, it's ok.

I see lots of mentions about Meds and or Medical..I am guessing all of you are talking about the Physical ?. Is the Physical hard to pass.. I have a few problems but no life threatening crap to spread around,, Mostly what I call OLD FOLKS problems, and I have to walk with a cane.. I am a driver semi retired , so I deal just fine when it comes to working,, and I think Ill just drive small stuff. or perhaps UBER.. I am done Trucking after 40 years!

I was told by miss "chitforbrains" that they allow more for things when its a Physical for someone Doing Spousal Sponsorship Immigration.. I didn't know physicals could expire for this .. Glad I haven't done mine,, Ill let CIC tell me when to go getter-done ....

We don't need more OLD FARTS here > : D. Old farts, with old farty problems (spoken by one himself, but 25 yrs your junior ;) ). There is two things that you can encounter: Major health problems (like Syphillis, etc). Those they will attempt to treat first. Because they "pose a risk to society". Not to say this is you, but many strange things (like kids who are 11 show up with this) do happen.

There is also excessive demand threshold. For pre-existing conditions, they can evaluate further to see if it would pass the excessive demand threshold. Because Healthcare is universal here, it can pose a strain for the system. That's what they would evaluate here. That said, from what I understand, the excessive demand threshold is waived for spousal sponsorships.

In our case, the medical was already passed and accepted. They went to give my wife a decision, and decided they wanted an updated one (because it was technically no longer valid).

If you go by AOR, June 18th. However, they seem to be going to the receipt date, which is May 16 2017. When I put my wife's receipt date in, April 18 :).

EDIT: BTW I double checked with my previous guesstimate/prediction here: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/spousal-sponsorship-inland-applications-2016-timeline-and-updates-t389295.0.html;msg5711873#msg5711873 I am off (less) by 4 days...stupid rounding :).

My bad ours was received on 30-Mar-2016 and ours started processing on 3-May-2016.

Sure you can. It's at the top though. Like The address block. And I wouldn't need anything passed the first line "This acknowledges your application for ... etc" You can find that in all of those places.

I did check my calculation against your case, looks like the Meds slowed you up. Shoulda been March 13.

Oddly enough, I mathed a September landing also!

*voodoo

Besides, my math is better... it says Sept 5 :).

I take the current date they claim to be processing (which will be a rough mean probably), then I figure out how many days between then and December 15 2017 (for cases before this date, they promised they would be done by Dec 15 2017). Then you take how many days from today to the date they are working on, add the diff to today, and Bob is your uncle...

Thats some actual real math there....you are 100% better at actual math than I am

Voodoo..funny you say that lol !!

My Math is based on Projected end dates by cic ( screw that 26 month bs....i know they're aiming for 12-15 for us)
current trends for the 2016 applicant landings ( around 13 - 15 months it looks like)
...and that feeling from the math voodoo gods I have in my stomach that tells me September 15
