That would be my understanding as you got AIP. @profiler what do you think? So should I assume that they have looked at the additional proofs now ??

Did you get an email stating it's been attached to your file? If not, it's safe to assume it's still stuck in the mail room. Not to worry about the due date -- the officers are well aware that the mail room is tragically behind. So should I assume that they have looked at the additional proofs now ??
Err....That would be my understanding as you got AIP. @profiler what do you think?
No I have not received any email saying it has been attached to the file.Did you get an email stating it's been attached to your file? If not, it's safe to assume it's still stuck in the mail room. When they hit this region, they are generally reasonably diminished. Katrina ripped many old trees down here. Almost stole my satellite dish too!Yes melatonin is in any pharmacy. I bought our bottle in Walmart.
Yes I heard about Harvey. I remember Katrina.... I was driving on the highway when it hit Quebec province, I was such a long ride. I had to drive slowly because the rain was too intense. And of course, when it reaches Canada, it's already downgraded to a simple tropical storm; it's now category 4! I can't imagine how intense it is there!
I agree with you. Some agents have a tiny clue on what's on their own website. I don't trust them because they seem to answer your call and want to finish with you so fast without getting to the nitty gritty of your case. Some are not informed on what the status of your file is even after looking up in the system. The system is failing us, they say one thing and don't keep their word. We will end up with agents having a backlog. Those times are a guide but maybe interviewing spouses should be brought back.I don't think the system works. If you check those who applied on December, 2016 on the spreadsheet, you will see that most of them are already landing.
Thanks a lot. That would be my understanding as you got AIP. @profiler what do you think?
Yours is to finish within 12. Those agents are practically idiotsDear friends
Today I spoke to cic. They told me your processing time 26 months but they received my application dec 14 2016
Is it correct or not ?
Yah... I haven't commented on that, but there is a negative spin now on this thread. Negativity won't help anyone....
@sylvain1
... I feel a rant coming on ...
BTW -- check the edit on my request for info on melatonin. If you are not able to get this, we will be scheduling a trip for you and your wife to l'Ontario. Maybe you like Blue Jays
As I said before, I wish they enforced contribution for the call centre agents on this forum.Yours is to finish within 12. Those agents are practically idiots
Yes they asked me 3 times.. I thought I wasn't missing any gaps too but I did. I suggest checking it every line. As of this week, CIC has been attaching files in days. Heads up to everyone - that's a good thing!Hi Everyone,
I am August 2016 sponsorship applicant. On June 29th, I received an email from CIC requesting me to complete the Schedule A form and I was given a month to do so. I completed this form and sent it back to CIC through the web form. However, I received another email from CIC today requesting me to complete the Schedule A form again. I am very sure that I completed the form as requested the first time without leaving any gaps in-between the months... I made sure that all the months were accounted for (here is the format I used the first time From 2017-09 to 2017 - 10). Does anybody know why CIC asked me to complete this form again? Has this ever happened to anyone on this forum? What would you advise me to do?
I think @profiler already offered his help, but I may offer my help as well. If you send me a private message, I can give you my email. I won't have time tomorrow, but I could check on Sunday.Hi Everyone,

You needed to hit the local gas station! That's the part that shocked me in NB -- Gas Stations!Yah... I haven't commented on that, but there is a negative spin now on this thread. Negativity won't help anyone.
Regarding the beer you described, I would need to go to one of these specialised shop, we have "le monde des bières" and the "dep de la rive" that are specialized in imported beers. In Quebec, the beer is mainly sold in groceries and convenient stores, not in SAQ (equivalent to LCBO) and they will sell mainly big commercial brand and some local products.
That reminds me my first trip to New-Brunswick... that was in 2004. With a friend, we went for camping there. On the way, my car broke... it was the clutch... I was stack for two days in a small city still on Quebec side. When I finally got my car back, we drove to NB and got to a camping around 10h45 pm. So we were thirsty.... and went to the first convenient store to buy beer. After looking at all fridges a few times each with some desperation, the cashier told me, you're from Quebec, right? Yes, why? Beer is not sold in convenience store in NB, you'll have to wait until tomorrow to buy from a beer store.... so I learned that it was another "only in Quebec"!!!
