Please help! I am in the process of gathering our documents and filling out the immigration forms. During our organization process and finalizing our application, we realized that a there has been a new update for the IMM 0008 and IMM 1344 forms! So, I filled out the forms again; HOWEVER, after completing form IMM 0008, it did not let me print! I tried saving the PDF form but it did not print as well. The form says 'SECURED' and supposedly it is protected by a password from the CIC. So, I really want to send in my application and that is the only form that is holding us back! Please help and advise us on what to do. Thank you.

You appear to be correct. Printing and Saving is blocked by the security settings.ynasef said:

It's a good way of cutting down on PR applications, by making it impossible to fill in the forms.

Hey Zardoz, I noticed that the CIC website page with the forms was last modified on 16/6/2014. Could it be that they just updated and are still finalizing the form and that's why it is locked? I mean my spouse's police certificates are going to expire in 2 months and it will be a hassle getting a new one since we live outside her home country. I don't know if this form issue is usual.
The form itself at the bottom says 07-2014, i think its gonna be ready to use in july as we are still in June, CIC added " have u written the language proficiency exam" under language details. But the checklist still the same, no language requirement for spousal sponsorship application unlike provincial nominee and CEC.
Zardoz, lounge, I just checked the same IMM0008 but in French and it is available and ready to save and print! So, I think that this is just a mistake with the English form!
The question is, all of our forms are all filled in English. Lets say that CIC takes a while to correct this issue, can I send in all the forms in English and fill in the IMM0008 using the French version and send it in along with the rest of my forms?

It's unorthodox but I suspect that legally they can't refuse a French form... That doesn't mean that they won't.ynasef said:
