Hi, I am a newbie here. Hope someone can help me with my question.
I am a Canadian citizen who is now preparing documents for my husband's spousal sponsorship application.
We are confused as to which document checklist we should follow. In the Instruction Guide, it says "Sponsored relatives must follow specific instructions depending on where they live". We are now living in Japan, but my husband was born in Uzbekistan. The main concern is what identity documents we need to submit. In Japan, we have the Family Register which shows our nationality, but not the birth place. His passport shows the birth place, but not his parents' information.
Do we need to submit his birth certificate?
Thanks for the help in advance!
