Hi guys,

I am the sponsor, my husband the applicant.
CIC have just started processing my application to sponsor and I've changed jobs, due to more hours and better pay.
Obviously I need to inform them of this, and I have a job offer letter confirming all details from my new employer...

Can someone tell me the best way to do this...do I just mail in the document and if so, do I use the client number that was sent from CIC when they sent my confirmation email, or should I use my husbands client ID number...

Thanks in advance :)

Unless you are changing your home address I don't think it matters to CIC where you are working.

For sponsoring a spouse, they don't look at your income so you don't need to inform them about it.

Overall you have to be working to sponsor your spouse. I remember filling out an entire section on my employment info also I provided a job letter. I think you should call CIC to confirm what to do.

Agreed but also, unless you feel your approval is at risk of not being issued based on your previous income . . . no need.
