Spousal Sponsorship Bogota Colombia 2015 ?anybody

Hmmm.. I didn't wait. I was super worried about it so I already sent Bogota an email about the name thing. Hopefully when my package arrives it's sorted out right away...

So since the 27th you haven't heard any news?? Oh this is gonna be difficult!!

yeah maybe they will wait until they get ur package to make the change or who knows but don't worry too much about that.

Well I made the payment for the police check for Colombia on the 27th and then a week later I sent them an e-mail asking if they got the background check they told me yes. and since then no news.

I have ordered the gmcs notes already lol, to see if they have started working on our file. but the notes take 30 days to get them, so in 30 days i'll be almost at 2 months since S/A so maybe it will give me an idea.
but yes this waiting time is horrible, worst than S/A because there's not much of a trend to follow, we just don't really know how long.

but on your side I don't think you need to worry about another background check!

gmcs notes are notes of our application that we have acces under the privacy act of Canada, so It shows where they are in our app, and also if any issues, pretty much notes of the agent that is handeling our app. have a look on the forum you'll find better explanation, and people ordering them, you can wait until getting your AOR2 and then ordering them if you want, it takes 30 days so it would be the notes after 30 days they got your app maybe there's already some info, maye not, if your not in canada it's 5$ otherwise free...


for CSQ is our amazing stage for people who intend to live in Quebec, after S/A we have a send a few forms and getting approved by immigration Quebec yeah it's a lost of time AND money, anyway I got that paper and i'm 272$ short now.

Yup that's my plan. I was gonna call, but if my package is on it's way to Bogota, i'm sure i'll just waste my time; so i'm gonna wait for AOR2. I'm hoping it doesnt take too long.

well from my estimation you should get it by the end of next week!

LOL! Thank you for letting me know, i probably would have!

I really can't believe the process takes so long... I know they receive thousands and thousands of apps, but from the moment they open it it lakes 12 months to look through the papers??
Just wish it could happen quicker..
I wonder if it depends on what your case looks like how quick it goes or do you think they take the same time for everyone??

Nooooo, unfortunately nothing yet. I understand now when you said before that this is the actual stressful part. I don't know how i'm going to last so long without hearing anything from Bogota...

At least your close to getting the notes...
