Spousal sponsorship application in Ankara

Hi All,

I've been reading this forum for a few months, and I must say that it's really informative.

My husband is a Georgian citizen, and I'm a PR. We have been working on our application package for a couple of months now, and it's finally getting close to being ready to send this week!

His VO is gonna be Ankara, and I notice that not many forum members are dealing with that VO. Just wonder if anyone is also through them? I know the statistics are now saying it takes 5 months(80%) but was kinda hoping for more personal experiences from fellow members.

Yeah not many people from Ankara here, but with all the Iranian applications being transferred from Damascus to Ankara you can find many of us in this thread:

Don't want to disappoint you but with the closure of Damascus and Tehran, many files were transferred to Ankara and that 5 month timeline was for before all the transfer happening!

I guess all we can do is to hope for the best. I took a look at the thread you suggested, and it seems the VO is going through a lot at the moment. I hope timeline won't increase to 15 months from 5 Separation isn't easy.

Long time no updates in here! My E-CAS says In-Process and when I click on it it says "We started processing your application on July 17, 2012. ".

Any idea what the anticipated time is to get a Decision-Made status?!
