In general applications take longer than 12 months.

In general applications take longer than 12 months.

As much as I know and due to the Iranians' cases I have been in correspondence with, most of applications take less than a year to come to an end. Before summer even it took 8-9 months which has become longer during the summer however still less than a year.

I would disagree. I see many taking over 12 months. All you can do is estimate 12 months but not make plans in case it take many months longer.
